‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement[W:25]

Re: ‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement

Arab citizens of Israel are citizens of Israel, not just to me but to the state's laws.
As to your nonsensical drivel - nothing to reply to there.

ah okay - it is luck as always in life. Either you had the luck to stay or you had the bad luck that you or your fathers were chased in some kind of ....Camp in the desert. The first are "Citizens", the second murderers.... that´s life!

If you don't want me to confront you for what you're saying make sure you're educated on the subject you're discussing, this should go without saying and is applying to all subjects of discussion, not just Israel.

okay, summary: there are no diverse kinds of truth, there is only one truth and it´s prophet is Apocalypse. Everyone else has lies fakenews and propaganda.

Luckily we don´t have to fear that you die of a too small Ego. But may I have some of your drugs?

I always bother to see all sides, to balance and such stuff - Why? Absolute rubbish. Have a stand and everyone else has the wrong sources. Life could be so easy...

Vancouver is part of the homeland of a sovereign nation - Canada. Was Jerusalem ever part of a the homeland of a sovereign nation other than the Jewish nation? No. So there we have it. You're welcome.

Is Texas an American or Mexican homeland? What does homeland mean in a legal context?

And youi decide who´s a People and who not? In doubt chase half of them in the desert and the rest will be a minority and you can claim you have pure democratic processes.

All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others...

This week fulfillment of the following became more obvious.
God said:

“I am going to make Jerusalem a cup of trembling
before all the surrounding nations. …….
I will set Jerusalem as a weighty stone to all the peoples.
all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces,
though all the nations of the earth be gathered together against it.
Zechariah 12:2-3

How can one not see the fulfillment ?

Next stop: Ezekiel 38-39

umm, cause everything is pretty much fine there and the million previous examples of much worse states of affairs in Jerusalem did not do ... whatever it is that this seems to be suggesting?

Re: ‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement

This is a load of bull****. If you ask an Israeli there is no nation of Palestine. It does not exist to them, they do not recognize their rights to self-determination and they actively petition the world not to recognize them. Both have a right to exist, the Israelis do not have a right to total domination over the Palestinians.

Gaza.

If you go by the people who inhabited it it would be white people and tejas and tejano indians, as outside those groups texas was nearly uninhabited at the time it left mexico. It was so bad mexico used texas as a punishment because mexicans viewed texas as an uninhabitable wasteland, but guess what give some rednecks guns and whiskey they will conquer anything.

Also the tejano and tejas indians sided with texas independance over mexico, actual mexican migration to texas came much later as it was a state of mexico mexicans did not want until someone tamed it for them.

Jews were the majority in Jerusalem in 1948 and almost throughout history.
The Jordanians deported the Jews from the occupied old city, so yes the city was liberated

Being able to wipe out the people living in an area and filling it with your own people has nothing to do with "liberation".

Being deported from the immediate vicinity of an area--- and treated far more lightly than you had treated the original inhabitants--- is not oppression

Using religion as a justification for a land grab is not liberation.

Re: ‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement

As I said there are people here who protect North Korea and do a better job than you do in standing with evil. We get it, Jordanians taking a land that isn't theirs and enforcing their dark regime on it = good, Jews liberating that land and having a Democracy in it = bad. Great, can we move on now or do you want to tell us how great Stalin's regime was?

Oh really? Israel has had very good relations with Jordan for decades. Now, by your own idiotic attempt at logic, that means you have been actively collaborating with evil for years---- unless you are about to back off of your hyberbolic stupidity.

Otherwise, I guess the record should note that some of you seem to think Israel has had pretty damn good relations with a North Korea esque state(:lamo) for years.

"Dark regime"? About as dark as a regime where nobody died can get, I suppose

Oh really? Now you are trying to compare the Jordanians to Stalin?

And you wonder why nobody in the West is buying your arguments anymore.

‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement

Ahead of Trump's pronouncement, close U.S. allies such as Britain, France and Germany had criticized him and questioned the wisdom of such a move. German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said Tuesday that the pursuit of such policies by the Trump administration is why traditional U.S.-European ties have started to “crumble.”

“We all know the far-reaching impact this move would have,” Gabriel said. “Germany’s position on this issue remains unchanged: A solution to the Jerusalem problem can only be found through direct negotiations between both parties. Everything which worsens the crisis is counterproductive.”

In Russia, the Kremlin also joined the list of nations fearing that such a move will exacerbate tensions between Israel and Palestinians, saying that the situation could worsen as a result. It was one of the few times a Kremlin foreign policy goal has converged with that of most NATO member states.Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said the U.S. plan is “unlawful” and could have “irreversible consequences” in the region.

So, looks like Trump managed to unite the whole damn world against us this time.

I can't think of anything more likely to cause attacks than recognizing Jerusalem as the capitol or Israel. The only group that will happy with this is religious fanatics - including evangelicals around the world and right wing Israelis. I can't think of any group in the US who benefits by this other than the 'end is nigh' crowd pushing for the 3rd temple. What possible reason could he have for making this decision?

Right now I am betting a reversal will come - because this is ridiculous.

Sad to see Anti Semitism is alive and well in Europe.

Re: ‘It’s catastrophic’: U.S. allies reject Trump’s Jerusalem pronouncement

Strawman arguments are the weapon of the misguided who can't admit to their own ignorance on the subject they wasted time discussing, I will thus admit to your ignorance in your name.

Buddy, you literally tried to compare Jordan to North Korea. You didn't just shoot yourself in the foot, you pulled the pin on a hand grenade and jumped up and down on it until it blew.

Your reply does not fit the post it replied to, I was reacting to your "wiping the tribes" claim.
Anyway spare me the empty rhetoric, standing with one evil is standing with all.

I'm not sure if it's one long unfunny joke or not but anyway just so we're clear here you were backing pre-1967 Jordan - a barbaric regime. I'm not even backing modern Jordan - a less barbaric but still backwards regime. What is your point here exactly? You're really bad with that logic thing.

And who in the West isn't buying my arguments?
Not sure even you have an idea what you're talking about at this point.

The question is why does Britain, France, and Germany want to pretend that the captial of Israel is not Jerusalem?
Do they think the countries capital is somewhere else?
Do they still think the capital of the USA is in Philadelphia?

The world recognizes tel-Aviv as Israel’s capital. The capital of the Palestinian State is supposed to be East Jerusalem.

They're afraid of the reaction, but they too will follow, simply a matter of time.

The world recognizes tel-Aviv as Israel’s capital. The capital of the Palestinian State is supposed to be East Jerusalem.

Recognizing something means that it is that way and you only choose to see it as it is.
The rest of the international community thus doesn't "recognize" that Tel-Aviv is Israel's capital as it cannot be that other countries decide what the capital of a state is and Tel-Aviv was not declared as Israel's capital. It's simply where the embassies are located at. Those countries simply don't recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. (Although Russia and Czech Republic for example recognize West Jerusalem as Israel's capital)

As to the capital of the Palestinian state, that is up to the Palestinians to decide once they get a state but they won't be able to declare the capital city of another country controlled by that country as their capital just like Poland cannot declare London as its capital.

If Jerusalem land is within the borders oF Isreal then they have the right to move their capital their and the USA plus those other european countried should reckonize it, its that simple why do anything less?

By allies......you mean Europe? Screw Europe! And, the Americans at the time as well.

Europe always has been Anti-Semitic, and part of the reason for the Jews being slaughtered by the Germans. America was just as bad for turning them away.

Holocaust | The reasons for the Holocaust

Now all of a sudden they want to control Israel's well being after placing them in a polka dot landscape to be at war with the Arabs??

In the proposed two-state peace negotiations, East Jerusalem was to be the capital of the proposed Palestinian state.

What proposition? The UN partition plan? Because no, it was an international zone according to that plan which never came to light due to the Arab reaction.

As to the current attempts at peace, nothing was decided before the two parties agreed to anything so it's impossible to make such claim.

But the Palestinians who live in East Jerusalem also consider it to be the capital of their homeland.

Might as well claim Washington DC as their capital and the land of the US as their homeland it's quite meaningless when it's part of another country already annexed by it over 50 years ago after its liberation.
