The Yamaha was fast, but being a shaft drive didn't handle corners well.
I do remember the rush. Lay down on the tank, put your feet on the rear pegs and twist the throttle open and hear it howl.
I loved Dunlop tires, hated Goodyears and Contis.
The only time I laid it over was due to the Continental tire on the ass end losing it's grip. Never felt confident again with that tire on.
