Hillary Clinton lost because liberals didn't like her, not because people liked Trump better. That's why it's patently absurd, four years later, to attempt to draw any sort of correlation between attitudes toward Trump as a reaction to disappointment about Clinton's defeat. You and TurtleDude should be able to do better than that.
Furthermore, I don't think that "Republicans as evil" was a prevalent theme among liberals. I'm sure that it was for Democrats, but Republicans have been labeling Democrats as evil for at least 40 years. Frankly, I have little or no use for anyone who identifies with either party and have never registered with any of them, least of all the two major ones, which are more corrupt than any mob family, inside trader, or Enron executive that has ever existed in this country. So go ahead and call the Democratic party a party of hate. I have nothing to do with them and only put them at -95 versus the Republicans' -100 because they didn't sell out their fake ass virtues (Remember fiscal conservatism, family values, and individual rights? Yeah, no one else does either.) to the single dumbest, most illiterate, least thoughtful, most insecure, cruelest, grossest, rudest fat ass slob that has ever stumbled down the halls of the White House.
