Edward Snowden NBC NEWS FULL INTERVIEW[W:28]

Re: Edward Snowden NBC NEWS FULL INTERVIEW Personally I support Snowden's decision to blow the whistle. He's technically a traitor by law, but so was Washington. Great men taking huge risks is what created the great country the world (and America) used to revere. It will require the same great...

Guns and Crazies, What a Country [W:298]

Re: Guns and Crazies, What a Country How do you propose to do that? A scantron? It's easy to see what answers people want to get in that situation. A doctor doing a mental exam? That would be FAR to expensive to enlist under taxes.

Guns and Crazies, What a Country [W:298]

Re: Guns and Crazies, What a Country A single gun in the hands of a trained individual at the place of shooting could have stopped it there. He could have easily killed more with a knife since it is a silent weapon and easier to conceal and requires no ammunition. It merely has less range...

Guns and Crazies, What a Country [W:298]

Re: Guns and Crazies, What a Country There's a little thing called the 4th Amendment that protects you from search and seizure without due process. That includes detainment and arrest. The authorities cannot detain him unless they have reason to be leave he committED (past tense) a crime. They...

    Chipotle bans guns in restaurants

Yeah I can see that. My only concern is that in a "dynamic critical incident", as my firearms instructer would have put it, it takes time to remember and flip the safety off, time which we may not have. So better just to have a holster that encloses the trigger and to keep that finger well away...

Well if you like the external safety then the SP2022 isn't for you. There is no external safety, however there's an internal safety on the firing pin, so it will not discharge unless the trigger is pulled. Personally, I'd rather not have a safety. My firearm stays in the holster at all times...

Not to mention the guy who robs a place probably wouldn't be able to afford a decent AR, let alone the ammo for it.

Might I suggest a Sig SP 2022? comes in 9/357 sig/40. Or what's wrong with a Glock 23? You can get conversion kits for that from .22, 9mm, 357 sig, and 40. Both priced around 500-550. And it's Sig/Glock quality. Hard to beat.

You make the mistake of assuming these kids had history lessons or bothered to take the time away from Facebook to look it up. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Since it is a privately owned business, they have the right to do so. Even if it is not posted outside (of any establishment) any employees that work there have the right to ask an armed person to leave (excluding law enforcement). If they do not obey the command, they can be charged with...

    Preferred Method of Carry?

There's quite a debate surrounding this. Could go either way. Personally I bank on the notion that most people will correct their demented thoughts if there is a risk of being shot in the process of their pending idiotic actions. Not to mention I find it more comfortable and easier to manage...

    Preferred Method of Carry?

Yes, in fact it is. You may only conceal there, and if you don't conceal well enough you might face charges for it.

    Preferred Method of Carry?

Look into the "Flashbang" holster. Seems legit.

It's these fools that make defending the 2nd harder. If you think you're responsible enough to own a firearm, then you're responsible enough to know the laws surrounding them. If you don't, then you have no excuses. Too bad he didn't get arrested.

    Preferred Method of Carry?

Went into a restaurant here near where I live with two cops eating. I was open carrying at the time and had to walk right past them to get to the counter. My gun was easily within sight and they'd have to be pretty blind or just completely oblivious to have missed it and they didn't even bother...
