Biden launches brutal ad answering Trump’s question: ‘Were you better off 4 years ago?’

yes, deaths don't really matter to Americans
Much as I hate to admit it, I think that you are much more correct than not.
yes, we're an unhealthy nation and deaths from diabetes has been climbing yearly for year hasn't it?

View attachment 67500780

me?

I'm with Joe Biden - anyone with that many death shouldn't be POTUS - are you saying Joe Biden was lying when he said that?
I guess that that means that no one should be President unless then can get the weekly American death toll from Heart Disease, Cancer, Accidents, Chronic Lower Respiratory Disease, CVAs, Alzheimer's, and Diabetes. down under 1,500 - eh wot? (Heck, I'll be more generous than you and make that the INDIVIDUAL death tolls and not the collective one.)
or just political pandering and weaponizing a historical pandemic crisis ?
So, your position is that Mr. Biden shouldn't be President because fewer people are dying from COVID-19 than die from Diabetes but Mr. Trump should be President because people died at roughly six times the rate when he was in charge then they did while Mr. Biden has been in charge - right?
well, if you're going to blame Trump for 800,000 dead, you also have to give him credit for bringing the number down to 1500 a week
Which, of course, he had no hand in.
which are you going to do ? don't let those political bias colored glasses get in your way but I'm going to guess you'll blame Trump for everything BAD and give credit to Biden for everything GOOD
Nope, I'm quite prepared to give Mr. Trump for everything good that he did do in combating COVID-19 and prepared to give Mr. Biden the blame for everything bad he did do. Of course, unlike you, I'm also prepared to give Mr. Trump the blame for everything bad he did do as well as giving Mr. Biden credit for everything good he did do.
am I close ?
Not even in the same county.

before covid how did Trump do ?

I mean, all the time people are talking about context and relevancy and how Biden's 800,000 dead can't be used because of this and that ...

I remember Trump's economy being pretty good, way better than we have it now thanks to the massive inflation that happened first 2 years of Biden

isn't this all true ?

Before the Coronavirus invaded our shores, we built the world’s most prosperous economy

  • America gained 7 million new jobs—more than three times government experts’ projections
  • Middle-class family income increased nearly $6,000—more than five times the gains during the entire previous administration
  • The unemployment rate reached 3.5 percent, the lowest in a half-century
  • Achieved 40 months in a row with more job openings than job hirings
  • More Americans reported being employed than ever before—nearly 160 million
  • Jobless claims hit a nearly 50-year low
  • The number of people claiming unemployment insurance as a share of the population hit its lowest level on record
  • Incomes rose in every single metro area in the United States for the first time in nearly three decades
Delivered a future of greater promise and opportunity for citizens of all backgrounds

  • Unemployment rates for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and those without a high school diploma all reached record lows
  • Unemployment for women hit its lowest rate in nearly 70 years
  • Nearly 7 million people were lifted off of food stamps
  • Poverty rates for African Americans and Hispanic Americans reached record lows
  • Income inequality fell for two straight years—and by the largest amount in over a decade
  • The bottom 50 percent of American households saw a 40 percent increase in net worth
  • Wages rose fastest for low-income and blue-collar workers—a 16 percent pay increase
  • African American homeownership increased from 41.7 percent to 46.4 percent

Yes, we already know that Trump benefited from Obama's economic policies pre-COVID.

Much as I hate to admit it, I think that you are much more correct than not.
well we don't

if we did, we'd ban tobacco use, we'd crack down on drugs, we'd focus on health and foods/diet ..... the things that really kill Americans

I guess that that means that no one should be President unless then can get the weekly American death toll from Heart Disease, Cancer, Accidents, Chronic Lower Respiratory Disease, CVAs, Alzheimer's, and Diabetes. down under 1,500 - eh wot? Biden and Democrats waved those banners - what's good for the goose is good for the gander

I'm saying Biden said for 200,000 dead Trump shouldn't be POTUS then Biden got in office and has nearing 800,000 dead and .... well looky there, he's not stepped down has he ? c'mon man ... Which, of course, he had no hand in.
he's President - who else gets credit/blame ?

Yes, we already know that Trump benefited from Obama's economic policies pre-COVID.

political biased glasses I see ..... blame it all on Trump

do you know how old that gets ?

Well duh, there was this little thing called a Pandemic. From the depth of the pandemic until Biden took over Trump restored 12 million jobs;
I find it really hard to credit that Mr. Trump created 12 million jobs between "the depth of the pandemic"

1711393414420.png

which was around January 3 2021 and when Mr. Biden was inaugurated on 20 JAN 21. That's an annual rate of .257,823,529 jobs and a daily rate of 705,882 jobs.

Since there are only 3,659,289 babies born in the US annually, I can see why the US would need vast numbers of new immigrants each year just to keep up with the new jobs that Mr. Trump is creating. Given an average family size of 2.2 people, the US absolutely requires at least 566,408,128 immigrants per year and the sooner it gets on with letting that number of immigrants in per year, the sooner Mr. Trump will be able to make America great again.
in his first full year as President Biden added 9 million. Biden's latest employment number is ONLY 5 million more that Trump's highest, non-Pandemic number.

Yep, 450,000 in ten months and 800,000 in 38. That's 45,000 per month for Trump and 21,000 for Biden. That means that Trump did almost 2.5 time better than Biden did - right?

Find it as hard as you want then check employment figures on Bureau of Labor Statistics. You do know that dead people don't have jobs, right?

yes Biden had lots more time to beat covid than Trump did

again, I'm just playing the game with the rules Biden and liberals set ... any president with THAT many deaths shouldn't be POTUS

do you agree?

back to the "were you better off 4 years ago" ad .......... why didn't that ad mention car prices? home prices? inflation ?southern border? Ukraine and Israel? National debt?

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Find it as hard as you want then check employment figures on Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Please produce a link to the BLS data that show an increase of 12,000,000 people employed on 20 JAN 21 (the day Mr. Biden was sworn in) over the number employed on 03 JAN 21 (the peak of the COVID-19 crisis).
You do know that dead people don't have jobs, right?
What (12,000,000[?]) dead people are you talking about?

well to be fair, Biden has let in 7 million known, probably 1/2 to the same amount unknown and they're not allowed to be employed so ...

I mean Biden HAS added 7 to 10 million poverty, unskilled, non-working people just because of his open border

Any president since George Washington has had that many deaths.
do you agree?
I will agree that any president whose uncaring dismissal of reality allows that many unnecessary deaths should not be president.

Since you seem to think that having 1,500 Americans per week die instantly disqualifies anyone from being president, why do you seem to think that Mr. Trump should be president?

PS - If you can't tell the difference between "factual conclusions" and "political rhetoric" you DO get a 50% reduction on the price of the

back to the "were you better off 4 years ago" ad .......... why didn't that ad mention car prices? home prices? inflation ?southern border? Ukraine and Israel? National debt?

And why don't you consider the increase in wages or the decrease in deaths?

PS - If you are looking for anything even remotely resembling "Truth in Political Advertising" you are living in the wrong country AND that does NOT depend on whether you support
"The MORE Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Republican Party’)" or "The LESS Reactionary Wing of the American Oligarchic Capitalist Party (DBA ‘The Democratic Party’)".

Interesting - totally unconnected with you actually providing anything that looks even remotely like data to support the claim that Mr. Trump created 12,000,000 jobs between 01 JAN 21 and 20 JAN 21.

But, then again, there ARE those who believe that BOTH "ignoring the question" and "constant repetition of a claim" are the same thing as "providing proof".

An interesting assumption not borne out by fact.
I believe in what makes sense

The one pin dot on the world where covid originated is the VERY SAME PLACE a virology lab experimenting on coronaviruses just happens to be located

Wouldn't know, don't have a life that revolves around highly overpaid people playing children's games.
well then trust me, head coach gets all the blame and all the credit - never ever ever pointing the fingers at someone else like Biden and Democrats are doing

Any president since George Washington has had that many deaths.

I didn't know covid 19 virus had been around that long ?

I will agree that any president whose uncaring dismissal of reality allows that many unnecessary deaths should not be president.

no no - that wasn't what was said and, Trump cared, he fast tracked the vaccines and didn't spread panic - he did good things. He was wrong too on things, Biden was too.

because a POTUS with that many deaths shouldn't be POTUS - you don't agree ?

And why don't you consider the increase in wages or the decrease in deaths?
sure, increase wages helped inflation, we can talk about the $22 burger and fries if you'd like too

decreases occur when a virus runs its course, 1500 die each week still .... Biden is great isn't he ?

While I appreciate your dogged persistence in sticking to your position that Mr. Biden is an utter failure unless he totally eradicates all forms of COVID, I can't help but conclude that it is totally divorced from reality.

That conclusion is reinforced by your persistant refusal to admit that Mr. Trump is (by your own definition) "unfit" to be president due to the fact that he "allowed" more than 1,500 American per week to die from COVID-19.

I presume that you also believe that FDR was "unfit" to be president due to the fact that he "allowed" around 2,100 Americans per week to die due to a cause that he had the power to totally eliminate.

crack down on drugs? We have been doing that since the 60s actually before that...the war on drugs has been a dismal failure...so, I seriously doubt that making tobacco is going to be any better...what has been more efficient is showing people what tobacco does to you....

no, there was never a war on drug - that was lies told to make people feel good

if you're ok with all the drug deaths and tobacco deaths that's consistent with USA - our society does NOT care about hundreds of thousands of dead people, we just don't

but I just want everyone to be honest about it

While I appreciate your dogged persistence in sticking to your position that Mr. Biden is an utter failure unless he totally eradicates all forms of COVID, I can't help but conclude that it is totally divorced from reality.

in all honesty I don't think Biden is an utter failure nor was Trump - both of them lied, both of them said things that wasn't true, ..... Biden though, he weaponized a virus to help get elected and capitalized on it .... and I think that needs remembered

what did Biden say about deaths and should a President sill be a President ? was Biden lying or wasn't he? If we go with what Biden said, Trump shouldn't be president and neither should Biden OR .... Biden was lying and both are acceptable

which is it? Democrats started that blame game on deaths, not me

um, no lies dude...do you not remember Pablo Escobar? Chapo Guzman? Tony and Juan Orlando Hernandez? We have made our drug war transnational and it hasn't stopped an ounce of drug use.
You know...I should really tell you off for the bullshit comment on being okay with tobacco deaths. I lost someone very close to me (my grandmother that raised me) to lung cancer and my mother has COPD and emphysema due to smoking. (I don't smoke) Our society does care about it...education is what the answer is, not making something illegal..

so that "war" .......... the USA has less drugs now right? not nearly as many overdosing? addicted ?

society says no - tobacco is a choice and if someone gets it and dies, that's on them. All of us has lost loved ones from smoking and yet, nobody cares that its still legal

we lost 1 million from covid and the country freaks out - we lose 550,000 a year to smoking and have for decades and NOBODY CARES.

if we cared, we'd ban it
