348 murders here in good old "Harm City". Not many "old white men" or NRA member perpetrators. Handy group to scapegoat though. I get it. Probably the last demographic that it's ok to slur. Good job. "What gives" indeed.:roll:

Age probably has more to do with the time of day than anything else. But sure, gun ownership is probably more a thing with the older generation. so what you are saying is that younger folks and minorities seek a nanny state government because they need additional parenting, while older white males are adults and do not?

I was responding to Tlrmin. What he claims the Va. legislature is getting ready to do is pass a law that will restrict the possession of "certain popular firearms" that are currently legal to own. That does not, by any definition, mean that they intend to ban all guns.

True they're not looking to ban all guns, but if the only gun you have is one of the guns the VA legislature is looking to ban it would also be true they are looking to take away your guns.

The white dudes are the ones that own legal guns. It’s the black dudes in the poor neighborhoods that own illegal guns which are the result of over 60% of the homicides. Can’t wait for the racist comments.

30% of Americans own guns, 36% say they can see owning a gun in the future and 33% say they will never own a gun. I didn’t know the country was made up of 66% of old white bald republicans.

41% republicans, 36% of independents and 16% of democrats own guns.
12% of women own guns and that number is on the rise.
At my gun club, the women aren’t bald or old and don’t look like men. May come to a surprise to you but our club allows blacks. LOL. Your ignorance is amazing.

Why do you think Medicare is OK, but "Medicare for all" is not?

What do think all those Tea Party placards in 2009 were all about "Stop socialized medicine and keep your hands off my Medicare"?

For years we've heard from the anti-gunners: "we aren't coming for for guns." What are they doing, now? They coming for our guns. To say that it won't continue and apply to other types of guns is either a lie, or stupidity.

They each sustained non life-threatening wounds but the driver got away.

You want to own a gun:
Take a safety class and background check before you get your permit. That’s how it’s done in NYS.
I would go even further by having a mandatory basic handgun course.

Unfortunately the ones who would not qualify for a permit are securing guns illegally and that is where the discussion should be. We need to somehow get the illegal guns off the street.
The democrats don’t want to talk about the issue because it’s mostly a problem in the intercity. The democrats do not care what happens in black neighborhoods.
