White House doctor: Trump in 'excellent health'

You mean: This guy?

maxresdefault.jpg
Yeah, that guy.

He looks like he might've run a pill-mill in the Haight during the '60's! :2razz:

My issue is that as an active duty O-8, Rear Admiral Jackson is subordinate to the CinC. And there is that HIPAA thing, kinda like tax returns under audit. What are the doctor’s options if ordered to muffle?

Muffle is one thing. Lie is another. It would really depend on whether the doctor considered it a “lawful order” or not.

Yeah, that guy.

He looks like a an ideal doctor to go to for “pain management”. :)

Yeah, but this guy's been doing this since before Obama. He appears legit, to me.

I agree, but Trump can decide what is to be released. I don’t think there will be any specifics

You are right in that Trump can make public as much, or as little, as he desires.

I always thought the public should legally have the right know, though. But apparently, it's not to be.

Especially if those ‘specifics’ weren’t the ‘best in Presidential medical history!’ “Believe me!”

If the Dems were in control of the Senate we might see a change being put forth on that.

I agree in part. I think we should have the right to know about things that affects their ability to do their job. I don’t think we should have blanket access to their medical records. For example , we have no need to know if he needs viagra or not.

The tax return precedent was bulldozed, so I am not optimistic. Most high level jobs in the private sector require the applicant to submit to some basic ‘evaluation.’ IMO ‘we the people’ have a certain right that overrides individual privacy concerns.

Two initial thoughts when I saw him on tv a couple days ago...

1) Tommy Chong, MD

2) He criticizes Steve Bannon ("Sloppy Steve") in a derogatory and disapproving way over his grooming habits, but this guy is his doctor?!?

I really don't expect to see a medical report.

Trump is obviously a very unusual human specimen. He maintains the highest amazing level of excellent health in spite of a diet that would kill a 20 year old, along with a lack of exercise. I have heard he likes KFC, McDonald's cheeseburgers and fries, apple pies and chocolate shakes, chocolate cake with 2 scoops of ice cream, diet coke and oreo cookies. Also wedge salad smothered in blue cheese dressing and Lays potato chips. Oh yes, and ketchup.

The other remarkable trait he has is the ability to grow taller as he ages. He has been described as 6'2" just about forever, including on his very own driver's license. Suddenly at his last physical (most healthy person ever to be president physical) he grew an inch and is now 6'3". Good for him, as that inch lowered his BMI from Obese to merely the upper level of overweight. It remains to be seen if he has grown again to perhaps 6'5".

In my experience generally people shrink a little as they grow older (I think a scientific fact). Also most doctors recommend a change in diet and daily exercise as soon as the BMI moves out of the normal range. But obviously Donald is just so amazingly unusual that doctors overlook his stats and are convinced that a 71 year old man's cardiovascular system is best served by a high fat, high carb junk food diet and no exercise.

That man is a marvel!

You all want an unhealthy president? Look at William Howard Taft. He makes Trump look fit in comparison.

Yeah, that guy.

Looks like a chubbier version of Brent Spiner in Independence Day

It's all that McDonald's fast food that he is addicted to. That fish filet sandwich is 2,300 calories. Washing it down with a diet Coke must make him feel better about eating himself into a heart attack or stroke.

No it is not 2,300 calories. A McDonald's Filet-o-Fish is 410 calories with cheese and tarter sauce.

You wanna' bet he still has one of these t-shirts?

That's funny. 'Better things for better living through chemistry' is actually the DuPont slogan in an archway at their 1939 Worlds Fair in NYC. I've actually seen it in one of the DuPont office buildings in downtown Wilmington, DE.

I believe it was Trump's campaign meal: 2 big macs, 2 fish fillets, fries and a chocolate shake that came in at more than 2300 calories. (Per Corey Lewandowski)

And it became a motto for late-sixties & early-seventies partiers, everywhere!

More like 2600 calories with small items... but well above the 2300 cal/ McD's fish sandwich post that generated my response.
