We have very easy to define parameters for what is and isn't a racist statement.

Now Trump has said things that I both do not like and that I don't particularly care for. But the amount of people that have come forward to claim something, no matter how old, or how obscure he's ever stated, as racist. Is astounding to me and we've seen time and time again. That many of these are either third, or even fourth hand accounts. Taken far out of context as what happened with his calling MS13 members animals and everyone's attempts to claim that he was saying that about all immigrants, or completely and utter lies right from the start.

A wall, is not racist. Calling a country a ****hole country, is not a racist statement. Yes it's a rude statement and crass as all hell. But not racist.

This is probably the simplest stance I can ever have with the anti-Trump crowd.

That in no way proves he promotes racism. I could care less if he wore his heart on his sleeve, at least it makes him readable in most cases and it makes him appear more human than the last jackass.

I also don't care for the lies. Those little lies he tells to protect his own ego are something that those of us who've seen him on TV for years now. Is something that we've come to understand is an inseparable part of his personality. Yet when I see groups coming forward to fact check his jokes and his little jabs, it makes me and those like me. Roll our eyes in the same kind of disgust that we've been doing over the exact same thing, over and over.

Why not? This is a very important question and a highly interesting one that is also in line with the topic matter in question.

It seems rather undisputable that National Socialism is a Left Wing ideology because it is rooted in Collectivism and also does it believe in nationalisation not only of certain services, but - more importantly - of people and, additionally, an ideology that opposes laissez faire economics. The platform of Swedish Social Demcorats is very similar to that of the NSDAP, for example (which is not too surprising as the two parties were close friends and both parties embody the typical, Northern European Social Democratic soul).

See, the distinction between Left and Right is fairly simple; the previous stand for interventionism whereas the latter stand for self-ownership. The Left does not appreciate individual variation and want to homogenise all individuals into one Collectivist blob of "equality". The Right believes individual variation is natural and thus something that ought to be respected. The Left does not believe in property and is therefore more likely to start wars than The Right, because The Right values property. The Left speaks of positive rights whereas The Right only believes in negative rights.

Hitler was no fan of laissez faire economics. In fact he hated it. Neitjer was Hitler a fan of non-interventionism, in fact he loved interventionism so much that his goal was to take over the whole world. Although Hitler did not go so far as to kill the bourgeosie, he still did expropriate their property. The idea he presented might not have been to nationalise the entire economy, but in its place, he did "nationalise the population" in the name of creating a homogenous blob of equality. To "nationalise the population" he pushed Identity Politics into the most absurd of absurdums, namely genocide. Furthermore, he wanted a government dictated development (Progressivism) and was a big fan of regulations and other kinds of market interventionism.

Hitler was not on the Right.

But, wait! If Interventionism equals Leftism, does not that mean that all modern day political parties are Lefti Wing too? Yes, it does. Esentially, democracy is Left Wing thought as the purpose of the system is to nationalise decision-making and to expropriate the means of private opinions. The Right does not believe in government, they believe in the individual because every person is capable and equally entitled to their own bodies, brains, lives and families. The Right does not believe in intervention; neither in the public nor in the private and this does not only mean that they favour laissez faire economics, but also that they are anti-war and only support "Progressivism" if it is spontaneous, natural and voluntary. Finally, this individualistic nature also means that The Right opposes all forms of Identity Politics, be it quotas or genocide, because such ideas are Collectivist and thus the very polar opposite of Individualism. Democracy draws all parties towards the Left because the only way to win in a democracy is by offering attractive handouts and the only way to maintain power is by enlargening the size of the State.

I've seen no evidence so far that even suggest that Trump promotes racism. Despite all of the claims and all of the same repeated rhetoric that keeps getting thrown my way. I've seen nothing that even comes close to what people are trying to claim and I've seen people claim he was secretly transporting jews, latinos and gays into hidden death camps. So yes, forgive me if I am taking your opinion with more than a few grains of salt.

I've seen people like Pelosi claim that he is racist, because the wall was racist. I've got people in my facility right now that believe less crazy **** than that and several have Jesus listed as an emergency contact.
