No, not actually. If you are feeling it as irrelevant, then you must not have read them. Kindly read the tweets once and then you can judge about the poll.

That's exactly it. The left anti-Trump media give you to read what they want you to read to fit their anti-Trump agenda.

One side mid 1840's, the other about 1910, but this is immaterial. However, I believe in the American system of capitalism and individual responsibility. America is a state of mind, it is an idea - not heritage and not race. Mark Steyn, a Canadian, is more American than a lot of people who are technically American citizens.

Can we say that "Somalia" is an idea? That "Guatemala" is a state of mind? We can't. America is exceptional.

It is immaterial or it isn't. Some in America would submit that there is some sort of unknown cut off date. No one knows what that date is. "Your family has to have lived in America this >-------------------------------< before you cannot be told to move back to the country you came from." Trump and his camp followers appear to agree on it, whatever the length of time is. One problem is there is no time in-country requirement. No number.

Most Americans aren't part of that pretzel logic, however, because it makes no sense. White nationalists, QAnon and the rest of the Trump Party have never provided a specific amount of time after which you cannot be told to move back to where you came from.

So it seems you and I agree that if you are here legally, if you are an American citizen, there is no time in-country requirement. First generation, second generation and so on, it doesn't matter. If it did matter, people such as Melanie Trump should expect to be told to get and go back to where she came from.

Country of origin seems to be the major qualifier for telling someone to "Go back to the country you came from." But then there is a problem with that. We don't really know the country of origin of even all of our neighbors, let alone strangers. Even then, in a country of mongrels, last names aren't reliable indicators of country of origin or the length time a person or their family have been American citizens. And we've already determined that time in-country is no qualifier anyway. But perceived country of origin can be a real temptation for people who want to hate, for people who want to hurt other people.

I notice you did not respond to my question regarding your recent ancestry. Where did your family come from before they came to America? I would assume that you didn't respond because you feel that it doesn't matter. And it doesn't matter. Or it shouldn't matter. To white nationalists and the rest of the Trump Party, it does matter, however.

It's down to race and religion. I'm a white guy. Actually, I'm a pink guy with blonde hair and a Southern drawl. No one has ever told me to go back to the country I came from. White people in America don't get told go back to the country they came from - unless maybe they have a foreign accent or their clothes identify them as members of a non-Christian religion.

Trump said what he said out of a childish desire to hurt other people. Either he knew they were American citizens, 3 born in America, 1 a naturalized citizen, or he ignorantly assumed that none were American citizens. He knew all 4 women were non-white, he knew not all were Christian. Trump made tweeted and defended his statement based on racial and religious bigotry. You as much admitted that.

It's not the length of time. Ask any Trump supporter who is more American, the Canadian Mark Steyn or the "American citizen" Ilhan Omar. Most would say Steyn. America is an ideal, not a document proving citizenship.

Trump supporters would have no problem voting for a black president, as long as that president held American (and not Somalian) values. I voted for Deval Patrick.

The theory is, if you're a commie and you're a 6th generation citizen, then you can go back to a country more suited to your views.

A group of 4 "of color" women, who are so inclusive as to include white women and white men on their "squad", deserve to be pointed out as racially prejudiced. Racial groups are not part of American thinking. Maybe central America or perhaps some African countries are like that. They can go there and practice their brand of "inclusion".

Do you believe in capitalism and individualism? Then you are against the squad, and might be considered a racist. You certainly are a racist if you want them to stop tweeting.

It's a racial vomit fest from the left. Trump is merely joining in the fun. I think the left expects Trump to cry and pout when he gets anti-white race vomit all over him. Instead, he sticks his finger down his throat and joins the puke fest. But it's white puke and not colored puke. It's shocking to the left because race vomit is supposed to be a one-way street.

No, I did not say that and don't try to make it sound as if I had. Those are your words, your opinions, not mine.

My bad. I forgot the comma. I should have started a second sentence after saying, "Like you said, some of them were born here."

Telling natural born Americans to "go back to their country" because they have a non-white heritage is absolutely disgusting, objective racism. His supporters that view non-whites as non-Americans no doubt love his dramatic departure from civility and lack of respect for our Constitution.

I hardly think most of the founders who went about determining to contents of the constitution would agree with you sentiments!

John Jay an American statesman, Patriot, diplomat, one of the Founding Fathers, negotiator and signatory of the Treaty of Paris of 1783,
Governor of New York, and the first Chief Justice of the United States (1789–1795).

Looked about and saw a country of common blood, faith, languauge, history, customs, culture & principles.

'Providence has been pleased to give this one connected country to one united people, descended from the same ancestors,
speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government & similar
in manners & customs.
This country & these peoples seem to have been made for each other, united to each other by the strongest ties,
should never be split into a number of unsocial, jealous & alien sovereignties.

These four Horsewomen of the apocalypse very intent is to split this country into a number of unsocial, jealous & alien sovereignties.
President Trump didn’t call these women names. He just acknowledged their hatred of the USA, that we’ve all witnessed.
The most destructive lies ever witnessed in this country were uttered by Ted Kennedy on the Senate floor in 1965.

Almost exactly 50 years ago when our astronauts landed on the moon The USA reached it's zenith. Ever since then
this countries fortunes have tended downward. The fact that the 'squad' has gained acceptance to Democrats in congress
is a testimonial to the countries likely downfall!

If that’s the case, I am confused as to the strategy. The Epstein matter isn’t going away any time soon. America likes nothing better than celebrity legal troubles. Buy stock in Orville Redenbacker (sp?).

You are probably correct that Epstein's troubles aren't going to go away. But I haven't heard a peep about him since Trump told the Squad to get out of America. Those two are buddies.

That's exactly it. The left anti-Trump media give you to read what they want you to read to fit their anti-Trump agenda.

Here the discussion is not about Media. Its about the tweets made my Trump. No one can modify his tweets whether the media is Anti-Trump or Trump, right? So, Lets be on the topic please

EEOC Home Page

Equal opportunity employment means not discriminating against employees or job applicants because of their age, race, gender, religion, nationality and similar protected characteristics. If an employee can prove you treat your staff unequally, a business might have to pay out to settle the case.

In the EEOC's guidelines it states that using comments like a person should "Go back to their home country" are grounds for a EEOC complaint.

Directing despairing comments to a persons gender or a groups gender, again is grounds for an EEOC complaint.

People have a right to say or think what they want, as long as it does not or was not said to effect another persons work ability or performance.

Trumps comments were and are an attempt to limit the capabilities of a select gender, age group, ethnicity and religion of some members of congress.

Millions of dollars have been awarded because of comments less direct than Trumps tweets

Trump's comments are awesome. He told them to go back, fix their crappy countries of origin, then come back and show America how it's done.

Fix Somalia, then you're in a better position to tell America that it sucks. Better yet, get a white man on the squad to be 'inclusive' and 'diverse'.

Are you 100% Native American?

If not, your an immigrant or the spawn of immigrants.

So, why don't you go back to where you came from?

REAL Americans do not need to hear your inane divisive comments.

Take your tripe statements to the sh*ttest country that you have linage to.

When you have corrected that sh*t hole country move on to the next one you came from.

Once you get them all corrected then talk to America to see if you are worthy to return.

America once believed that if you were Spanish, Italian, Greek, Irish, Asian, Polish, Indian, African, Central/South American, Egyptian, German and a plethora of other nationality's, meant you weren't white and wouldn't qualify to be a citizen.

Would you qualify by those standards?

He didn't say that to any natural born Americans.

Seriously...did you even read his tweet?
"Natural born Americans" is someone born in America. Three of the four women were born in America. That, I would contend, means they are natural born Americans. Only a blithering idiot would tell someone born here to go back where you can from.

Moreover, it is well recognized that phrases like, "go back to Africa" or "go back to Puerto Rico," are racist slurs. It's not even arguable.

Dismissed.

He singled out four women, only one was not born here. That means the other three are trying to fix america...by defeating the republicans. When the GOP gets a few more people of color in their ranks, then we can talk about diversity. I love it when the party of inclusion talks about exclusion constantly. Lock her up, send her back. Hang em high.

Being an American is an ideal, not a race and not heritage. Ideals that are not American belong to some other country. Perhaps Somalia, Russia, Mexico. It's easy to point out that whites are racist, but it's also easy to point out that certain races and heritages may have a higher chance of "not" having American ideals: capitalism, personal responsibility, and individualism. As a white man, do you really think that "Ilhan Omar" has my best interest at heart? I work for a living and I take responsibility for my own actions. That's not Omar and it's not Cortez. Come to think of it, it's not democrats either.

Just because YOU say it, doesn’t make it true. What is true is that 3 of the 4 were born in America. Since his remarks were aimed at them, he was telling three naturally born Americans and a fourth who is a citizen to go back to a different country.

What part of the English language don’t you understand? Or is it that being a Trump devotee means that words only mean what Trump tells you they mean?

They are trying to fix America with socialism, and using race as a wedge. The fact that they are women, or that they are "of color", to use the current proper term for identifying 'certain' Americans, does not entitle them to un-American views. They can practice that in some other country.

Instead of calling me racist, explain how "Ilhan Omar" and "Ocasio-Cortez" will improve my life as a white man with a good job, a family, and a deep sense of personal responsibility. Or do those two women "of color" view me as the "problem" in America?

I can't speak for those two women but after reading many of your posts, yeah, I view people of your ilk as the problem. See you look at you as one person but when millions of people who have the same views as you which I read as it's all about me, you become the problem and that's the whole republican party, it's all about me.

While you may attempt to twist meaning into something else, even this reasoning doesn’t hold up to cavalier scrutiny. Nothing any of these women say or do is contrary to American ideals.

On the contrary, Trump, who says he should stay in office longer than his legal term and calls the free press the “enemy of the people “ is the antithesis of American ideals.

Ah, the socialism card. Nothing any of them believe is more socialist than Denmark, which I believe is a democracy. We have had Social Security for 80 years. Medicare and Medicaid for over 50 years,. Those programs are as American as apple pie. Yet, you people on the far right still scream socialism.

Just because YOU say it, doesn’t make it true.

All you have to do to know what's true is read his words. Then you'll know exactly what he said (and didn't say).

He specifically aimed his remarks at Congresswomen who came from other countries.

You still have trouble understanding those words, don't you?

Apparently Trump hates the First Amendment. Telling Americans to leave because they express their right to speak is apparently acceptable in the new America.

What Trump has done is unit the Democratic Party, with Pelosi sticking up for those she was formerly critical. What he also did was enrage black voters, who sat out 2016, giving Trump that marginal edge in PA and MI. They'll now will come out to vote in 2020.

BRILLIANT MOVE!
