Trump's approval rating plunges back to his worst with two new polls

Do your own homework.

CNN polls overweight democrats so idiot true believers, alt-left stooges and other mindless partisans get duped by the results. they do this to fool suckers and idiots into an agenda which they dutifully follow. You would think people would have learned their lesson after the election polling fiasco.

How stupid.

"Among the entire sample, 33% described themselves as Democrats, 24% described themselves as Republicans, and 43%
described themselves as independents or members of another party"

Democrats are 9% over represented in SRSS polls in general. as well as "independents" tend to be lean left in these polls. That is a fact. your emotions are not facts.

So now we're determining the validity of an article based on the photo they choose??? Really?

FoxNews has more pictures and they are prettier pictures.

FoxNews! "We give you the news the way the President likes it. Fox News! Less words more pictures.

If it isn't FoxNews why bother?

You're right.
It is stupid that Trump is tubby.
It is stupid that his approval rating is at 30%, the lowest in modern history.
It is really stupid that pudgy Trump is too stupid to recognize how bad he really is.
It is very stupid that his base (ilk) are too stupid to see what a moron Trump really is.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-approval-rating-just-passed-230047719.html

President Donald Trump’s approval rating is now higher than former President Barack Obama’s at this point in his presidency, according to the results of a daily poll released Tuesday.

As of Tuesday, 50 percent of likely voters in the United States approved of Trump’s job performance, according to the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll. On this date during year two of Obama’s first term, 43 percent of likely voters approved of how the president was performing, the same poll found.

YIKES!!
It's time for Hollywood to turn the Oscars into a Trump-bash!!!
That ALWAYS goes over well.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

All that Yahoo News report is doing is quoting the Ramuessen poll that is the outliner and always is higher for Republicans than every other poll.

Yes, that's the left wing take.

Absolutely, out of nine polls that show Trump, we "left" look at the consensus of the polls while the "right" only looks at the poll that shows him in the best light.

RealClearPolitics - Election Other - President Trump Job Approval

Awesome, another poll. Love you leftists and your polls especially the polls that had Hillary winning. How about explain to us why these polls matter other than to fuel the radical ego of today's leftwing radical Democratic Party? Seems Trump is ignoring those polls and generating positive economic and foreign policy results which of course you don't want to discuss. You see, this is February 2018, Trump has been in office 1year and so far every metric beats Obama by plenty and the American people are starting to see more spendable inomce and more full time jobs are being created. Keep touting meaningless polls in February 2018

To be technical, Democrats were oversampled by 37%.

If it would have been 36% Democrats vs 24% Republicans it would have shown Democrats over sampled by 50%(shown to simplify the math).

They only don't matter to you because they show Trump with the lowest approval of any president in modern history. If the polls were showing the opposite, you'd be bragging about them to no end and they'd be very important.

On economic and foreign policy issues, I'd be delighted to discuss said issue -- in a thread about economic and foreign policy issues -- not one whose topic is Trump's approval ratings. I am not going to allow you to suck posters into your characteristic thread crapping.

How accurate were the Rasmussen polls before the election?

The last two polls on RCP have Trump at 44 & 49%. Gallup & Quinipiac are only able to bring the average of RCP down to 41.2%
RCP Average 2/16 - 2/27 -- 41.2 55.1 -13.9

Trump's polls even with the bias Gallup & Quinnipiac are much higher than they were when he landslide Clinton in the Electoral College

Why try to exhaust human ingenuity to make it seem in your mind that Trump's downfall is imminent
when you have to realize he's gaining strength weekly.

Someone posted in this thread that Rasmussen was not accurate in 2016 and I remember that they predicted a Romney victory in 2012.

Rasmussen was right on the money.

Rasmussen Reports says it was the closest of all major pollsters in predicting the presidential election’s popular vote, pointing to final results posted by RealClearPolitics.

On its final poll released Nov. 7, the day before Election Day, Rasmussen had Hillary Clinton up 2 points on Donald Trump. Clinton won the popular vote by 1 percentage point, even though Donald Trump beat her on electoral votes.

No other pollster tracked by RealClearPolitics came as close to the final results.

Rasmussen calls itself most accurate pollster of 2016 | TheHill

They still predicted a Clinton victory and didn't get it "on-the-money," they were off. Others probably predicted more than 2%, all within the stated margin of error.

It is no surprise that a pollster would state that they got it right, when they didn't. We see that right here on DP.

In 2012, they were the only major pollster to get the result wrong.

Let me remind you that Trump got 306 electoral votes in 2016, which isn't a "landslide" in anyone's mind except Trump and his zombie followers. Obama beat that twice. I wrote about it recently here:

You can grasp for straws all you want but Gallup has Trump at the lowest approval/highest disapproval ever. Gallup Daily: Trump Job Approval

Your failure to give up is surprising. Obama in 2012 332 electoral totals, Trump 304. Obama 26 states won, Trump 30. There has been no
election in 100 years maybe more, that imitated Obama's win in 2012 than Trump's win in 2016 & many called Obama's win a landslide.
Trump's approval rating now is approx. 20% higher than it was when he shellacked poor Crooked Hillary, & you still hold your hopes
on a low approval rating, good luck with that type of thought.

No you won't because you don't understand economics, civics, or foreign policy. You want bigger govt, more social spending. Low approval ratings now mean nothing

People who use the term "Crooked Hillary" aren't worthy of debating.

Your mirror thinking is duly noted. What is mirror thinking? Conservatives say they are for small government and low taxes as a goal of their own, so conservatives think that liberals must believe the opposite and thus be for big government, more spending -- regardless of what for, and high taxes as a goal.

The reality is that liberals want government to do certain things, like provide essential health care; a safety net and old age benefits. The size of government per se isn’t the objective.

But reviewing recent history, the size of government increased the most under Republican Administrations. Moreover, conservatives say they are for low taxes but they are really only for low taxes on the wealthy. That's why they invented Frank Luntz terms like "skin in the game" -- which really means raise taxes on poor people.

Trumps win came from 80,000 votes in 3 blue states. When a national election is decided by a tenth of 1% of votes cast it can not be considered a landslide. Not to mention that Obama got a majority of votes cast and Trump lost the popular vote by over 3 million. Trumps name will have a asterisk in the history books as the least popular President ever elected.
