Shadow bans consist of people following an account not receiving notifications. They do exist. Unless you are going to be a shill for Dorsey and say people can still visit the account. The ease and primary function of Twitter is to follow them. The only reason to shadow ban is to limit their use.

There are no conservative viewpoints banned on twitter, if you were on the platform you would know this. Why are you acting like Twitter is outright banning everybody you agree with? Stop playing the victim.

I am saying that Alex Jones isn't being denied diddly in terms of "free speech".
A group of corporations decided that they hate his conduct and that it (A) violates their terms of service and possibly (B) impacts their bottom line.
Think of Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, iTunes et al as HOA's. You get to live in that HOA neighborhood as long as you don't paint your house the wrong color or park a jalopy in your driveway. Get the picture?
I am also saying that Jones can still set up his own megaphone without utilizing their platforms, and that numerous solutions exist for doing just that.

As far as my OWN PERSONAL VIEWS on his viewpoints, I think he's a whacko.
But my own personal views on Alex Jones isn't the subject of the thread.
Such a thread might be titled something along the lines of "Do you believe people like Alex Jones are dangerous?"

If I own a private club, and I demand that you adhere to a certain dress code if you're a member, say perhaps a suit and tie, and you repeatedly show up looking like this:

And I'm not the government, I'm a private organization serving my members.

The government isn't retaliating against these knobs.

That's what's funny to me about the whole thing. It's hard to tell what positions some conservatives take on this because in certain cases companies should be able to do what they want but now they're not supposed to? Companies are excluding content they don't want to carry, but that does not limit conservatives from establishing their own social media sites where they can cater to their audience. Personally I'd prefer all coexist rather than the fragmentation we've been witnessing, but I suspect that ship has sailed.
