Trump Mocks Dr. Ford at Campaign Rally

I see...so it is okay for people on the Left to call Kavanaugh all sorts of despicable things, doubt his veracity, assume the very worst of him.

But anyone make light of his accuser? Even using her own words against her to demonstrate problems with her testimony?

"Shame!" The Left cries. "Cretin! Fool! Liar! Sexist! Misogynist!" and on and on. All perfectly okay.

How about accepting a little of that same shame when you assume the worst of someone and feel free to vilify them at will?

Think about it. :coffeepap:

No, it's not alright. She deserves what she gets, in this I agree. I don't agree with the President saying it the way he did. :thumbdown

Americans need to show him and his dirty little sheep that they are no longer acceptable in American society. The one good thing is once these people exposed themselves to the world they can never go hide back in their closets and pretend that they are respectable, that mark if Kane cannot be removed now.

Baa, baa

Your post is pretty alarming. Hate much?

Yes, but totally uncalled. Disgusting display by a President, imo.

You have a right to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree. It's his nominee, and his duty to stand by his nominee.
Obviously, he was calling attention to the fact that Ford's story does not hold up.

Everything he said was correct. Deal with it leftists...

Even if it was - and it wasn't - that is no excuse for the President to act like a complete dick head.

And as a practical matter it will not help him get his man confirmed. So he's not only a complete dick head he's also a complete idiot.

You get your little fillwings hurt, better get out the crayons.

Gosh, that post really defines the stereotype.

How sad.

If she deserves what she gets, could you explain why Trump was wrong to call her out? She may have been sexually assaulted but it's clear that she cannot prove Kavanaugh was her sexual assaulter. That's all Trump was saying... but because Trump said it, it's just more faux outrage being expressed by his haters; ssdd.

Well, it was not just the Left saying it. Even Lindsey Graham said to Trump, in all words, "knock it off, you're not helping."

Disgusting, despicable, and vile. This is why women don't come forward. :(

I agree what Trump said is despicable. I believe Ford was assaulted when she was 15. I don't know if it was Kavanaugh or not. imo, the alleged assault should have been handled by law enforcement years ago. Guess I am one who am a bit suspect of the motive of coming forward now. Guess I believe someone can change. So unless someone can show he still is a heavy partier, makes bad judicial decisions, then I believe the man should be judged on his adult record and not what he did when he was a teenager and early 20's,

AND the selection of a SC Judge should not be political as it is today.

He's not a WA DC prototypical groomed stereotype for a president. One of the reasons he was elected.
Don't like him, don't vote for him in 2020, but for God's sake, instead of blaming him day in and day out, go find a WA DC prototypical groomed president that can beat him.

Don't forget, his supporters heard him confess to sexually assaulting women, and disregarded it "BECAUSE HILLARY!".

They are not any different.

I didn't vote for him because of his womanizing... However, I mostly support his platform.
When will some of you people manage to get why we didn't support the alternative?

As long as we are discussing who lies:

During her testimony, Ford stated under oath that she has never coached anyone on taking a lie detector test. “Never,” she replied when prosecutor Rachel Mitchell asked whether she had offered advice to any individual planning to submit to a polygraph examination.

At the time I thought this was as an odd question, but perhaps it was to dampen what they knew may be luring in the wind.

On Monday, the Senate Judiciary Committee said it had received a sworn statement from a man claiming to be Ford’s former boyfriend, whose name is redacted from his letter, saying he personally witnessed Ford coaching a friend for a polygraph test.

Here's a copy of the letter:

I, [redacted], am a current resident of [redacted], California.

I first met Christine Blasey (now Dr. Christine Blasey Ford) in 1989 or 1990 in California. From 1990-91, I was just friends with Ford. From approximately 1992 to 1998, I was in a relationship with Dr. Ford. I found her truthful and maintain no animus towards her.

During our time dating, Dr. Ford never brought up anything regarding her experience as a victim of sexual assault, harassment, or misconduct. Dr. Ford never mentioned Brett Kavanaugh.

During some of the time we were dating, Dr. Ford lived with Monica L. McLean, who I understood to be her life-long best friend. During that time, it was my understanding that McLean was interviewing for jobs with the FBI and the US Attorney's Office. I witnessed Dr. Ford help McLean prepare for a potential polygraph exam. Dr. Ford explained in detail what to expect, how polygraphs worked and helped McLean become familiar and less nervous about the exam. Dr. Ford was able to help because of her background in psychology.

Dr. Ford and I lived together while we were dating and stayed together in a long-distance relationship when Dr. Ford moved to Hawaii sometime around 1998, although I am not sure of the particular year and it might have been a bit earlier or later.

White visiting Ford in Hawaii, we traveled around the Hawaiian island including one time on a propeller plane. Dr. Ford never indicated a fear of flying. To the best of my recollection Dr. Ford never expressed a fear of closed quarters, tight spaces, or places with only one exit. I assisted Dr. Ford with finding a place to live in [redacted], CA. She ended up living in a very small, 500 sq. ft. house with one door.

Despite trying to maintain a long distance relationship, I ended the relationship once I discovered that Dr. Ford was unfaithful while living in Hawaii. After the break up, I took her off the credit card we shared. But nearly 1 year later, I noticed Dr. Ford had been charging the card, and charged about $600 worth of merchandise. When confronted, Dr. Ford said she did not use the card, but later admitted to the use after I threatened to involve fraud prevention.

I didn't speak again to Ford until about 2002 when Ford contacted me briefly. After that I hadn't thought much about her until I saw her story in the Washington Post on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018.

I do not want to become involved in this process or current investigation, but wanted to be truthful about what I know.

Signed,

[redacted]

I'll still take Pence at this time. I despise his politics and the morality of some of said politics, but I'd take Pence. He'd be more efficiently detestable than Trump, yes. At this point, I think Trump will have affected us negatively for quite some time.

After all, if a country seems to turn from ally to enemy for no particular reason, it's going to be wary of any moves back towards alliance in another American administration. It's easy to break trust. It's very difficult to repair it, and it should be; actions over words, and the like.

Trump and his base kind of remind me GWB and his base in his second term, but far worse. There was no concern for America as a whole, and all GWB did was play to his base as his polling tumbled. He didn't care about the polls either, and said his legacy can only be judged far into the future, but not now.... lol... how stupid does that sound today? Trump and his base have the same attitude but are louder and angrier, and they actually treat our allies with more contempt. If you don't agree with Trump, he and his base really don't care and they don't value respect and sense of community. I have literally heard Trump supporters say they don't care if America is internationally respected or not.

People like that aren't going to be respected nor will their culture or country, and history will not be kind to them or Trump. Being a deeply unpopular president has consequences, despite the cognitive dissonance.

I'm worried about anyone who might still be "undecided." Very worried.

He's done a few things, sure.

1. Creating crises, then re-"negotiating" the old stance, then calling it a vast improvement. (NK, NAFTA, etc etc etc).

2. Supply-side tax cuts at the worst time (prosperity), aimed at the wrong people (rich instead of poorer, ie, sales tax type stuff; don't derp about sales tax being state wide. There are plenty of ways to do it).

3. Keeping America in international news.

4. Making liberals mad.

5. Making liberals sad.

Fine, ok. Bully for him. But who the **** is looking at this record-breaking train wreck and still thinking in their mind's neuron "y'know... it... he seems like a dick. But... hrmmm.. but when pretty much everyone other than his family say he is bad, maybe that means something. I'll ponder and contemplate upon it."

If he keeps spending and cutting taxes like he is, we are going to have another financial crisis. Our debts are growing out of hand again. He is acting like GWB but worse. I don't know how anybody else can't see the warning signs. The stock market looks good, but it is inflated by his tax cuts and stock buy backs. It will correct itself.

kavanaugh and Dr Ford knew each other in the early 80's
why would she not know the identity of that person who was sexually assaulting her in the bedroom
