How can he tell us about the State of the Union? It is a Constitutional requirement of the President, made by the President. "When that hasn't actually been decided yet?" What the hell are you talking about? The President gives that information at the SOTU address!

Clearly if Pelosi is canceling the SOTU for fear of lax security given the government shutdown, it would be foolish to travel abroad! If you can't be safe in the Capitol building, how can you be safe in Egypt? He saved her. Trump is the real hero here. :lol:

Since the bill that you are talking about was one that was only passed in the lame duck session of the closing days of 115th Congress, and was never signed into law before Congress adjourned, the bill is officially dead with the end of the 115th congress.

This is the 116th congress, all of the prior bills that the previous congress failed to pass are dead and would have to be reintroduced by the new Congress

Answer me this: what is the reason that Speaker Pelosi should bring a bill to the floor That A) was introduced by the opposition party in the prievious congress, b) would not pass this congress, and c) was crafted entirely by the opposition party?

Trump is a Russian asset, a tax cheat, an election cheat and a scumbag. He also lost the public debate on the shutdown and has no right to punish anybody else for anything.

You mean the usual 30%? Do you know that the Chuck and Nancy show, single shared podium and all, drew in more viewers than the President did the night of his Oval Office address? Even if he holds another nationally televised Oval Office address or rally to give his SOTU address it will be almost completely devoid of all the pomp and circumstance, that Trump so dearly loves, that comes with a traditional SOTU Congressional Address.

This won't affect her one bit. She can afford to pay out-of-pocket and fly commercial. She may be impacted on the personal security end, but having to book commercial flights won't stop her.

Plus these trips are not usually announced ahead of time for security reasons, so he also made it known. He just does not know how to be a president and does not care.
