The Gun Control movement banks on dishonesty [W:103]

Didn't the NRA stoke fear that Obama was going to take everyone's guns away? Didn't the firearm industry do better than ever over Obama's 8 years as a result? To say that people that want sensible gun laws are dishonest is dishonest in itself.

There is a reason gun sales soar when a Democrat is in office.

I know that facts mean nothing in the gun control forum, but I put them out there anyway.

Black guns are used in more homicides than pink guns. That's a fact, and gun related, but it means nothing in a gun control discussion, in exactly the way that the intent of the design of the AR-15 means nothing in a discussion of gun control.

If it did, you wouldn't own an M1 carbine or M1911A1 pistol.

Try reading my post again - I agree it was designed as a military weapon. What you said and I disproved was something else entirely.

No, try reading my point again: the AR15 was designed a military combat weapon; not for home on the range. It;s specific design tells exactly what it was to be used for.

You haven't disproved anything I said dude. In fact your validating my point.

why don't you edify us with your stunning understanding of firearms design

what is the difference between a gun designed for home on the range? this ought to be funny

I'm ignoring your silliness.

You tend to ignore posters and posts who crush the silly nonsense you post

He just did that to the crap you have spewed about an AR-15=which has never been issued to our military versus two of the most prolific military weapons in the history of the US infantry and marines-the MI carbines and the 1911 Pistol

The Washington Post is one of the most dishonest anti gun rag sheets on earth. I will show a number of lies from that article

Lie Number One

The AR-15’s combination of portability, relatively light weight (about 8 to 9 pounds loaded) and customization options make it attractive for both close- and medium- to long-range engagements and the preferred weapon used to kill the enemies of the United States.

Truth-the AR-15 is not issued to the military of the USA

Lie Number Two
Although the AR-15 has been standard issue for American service members for decades

Truth-The AR-15 has never been issued to the US military

Lie Number Three
some rifles are available in pink for those who are intimidated by its militaristic appearance.

there is no evidence that those who buy pink ARs are INTIMIDATED BY THE black versions-my wife has one she customized to pink and she has several of the standard versions as well.

Like the M1 carbine and M1911A1? You just haven't shown that it means anything with regards to gun control.

I'm ignoring your silliness.

It's understandable why you ignore me. You can't show why your point about the AR-15 means anything with regards to gun control, especially given your ownership of an M1 carbine and an M1911A1 pistol, both of which were "designed for combat" and were actually accepted as combat weapons by the military.

Like the M1 carbine and M1911A1? You just haven't shown that it means anything with regards to gun control.

Avoid - deflect.

You lose again.

Did the Air Force ever use the semi-automatic AR-15 in combat, or did they use the fully automatic M16, as did the other branches of the military?

Is the M1 carbine a weapon of war designed for combat and used extensively in actual combat? <<< I bet you never answer this question.

I provided no proof to refute me once again.

You can't refute it, so you go a on and on with useless drivel to deflect away form your inability to argue your case.

It's Sunday night; I'm taking a break.

you've been asked dozens of times why an MI carbine should not be banned when it was used by at least a million US servicemen in three wars while the AR-15 has never been issued to anyone in the US military for combat use (some service rifles used by the US Army shooting team/US Army Marksmanship Unit-Ft Benning Ga modified for the Service Rifle championships at Camp Perry, Ohio and the "inter service championships" are semi auto only but are M16 rifles modified that way by the units gun smiths)/ You never ever have attempted to explain the idiotic claims you have made about an AR15 being a weapon of war but not using that term for an actual weapon of war that was issued in the millions to both US troops and our allies

in other words, you have lost again because you run away from easy questions it appears

Of course he won't. it destroys the facade he erects to hide his true motivations-he cannot own an AR 15 in california and he doesn't want you to own one either

Jet, you constantly provide no proof to refute yourself. You always win even though you never do. You beat yourself all the time. :lamo

So, are you going to answer his question or will you continue to avoid it because it further destroys your piss poor excuse for a coherent argument? I know where my money is.

Yeah, your money's in MY pocket; you lost again.

Thus, have I spoken, and it was so....:lamo

His whole self worth is dependent on him believing he is right hence the chest pounding proclamations that he is right. Very sad. I have known guys like him in my career. They can get people killed then blame someone else. Luckily, he is locked away behind a keyboard where he is not a real threat.....though he does have two weapons of war..one of which is an assault weapon.

I really doubt he is a gun owner, if he were, he likely fears those "demons" in his house, liberals think guns have an evil soul and can "get" you.

Why the hell would you be so against something that you would willingly own it?

Please show us which military adopted the AR-15.

Yeah, your money's in MY pocket; you lost again.
So you're not going to answer his question - noted.

Are you here to debate or to just embarrass yourself every time you post?

And that was a trick statement, and of course you fell for it as I knew you would. You've lost every debate you've had since you've been here and the casino will no longer take bets on your failure or success at debating anything at all. So when I say I know where my money is, it's nowhere near your pocket unless you're taking it from the stripper who I gave it to. Oh no, you're not the stripper are you? Hats off to your plastic surgeon if that really was you!
