Their idea is to go back toward what we had, which virtually nobody wants.

sure i am. How would you know what i pay for my insurance you don't.
so you can't make a statement like that at all.

What i pay for my insurance is cheaper and better than what the government is wanting to give me.
so why do i want less of it for a higher cost?

A medicare supplement is not a single payer system.
