Nathan Phillips vet status in question

Thats not true. Not all, but several did. Just like adults, kids can be little jerks sometimes. The ridiculous irony here though is that the person you are responding to ****s himself over the actions of several frontal lobe deficient teens while glossing over the actions of ****ing adults. Because he is a leftist and will ALWAYS mindlessly default to defending the idiot leftists.

Can you please clarify which part is not true? I'm just not sure I follow the first part of your post.

What the **** does Kerry have to do with any of this. We're discussing Phillips. Focus.

I have relatives in Corpus. I spent some time at the People's Baptist Church there years ago.

Careful, your bias is showing. CNN was not the only media outlet to include Philips’ claim of being a Marine Viet Nam vet.

What we do know is that the Native American and the high school junior were nose to nose and neither was mature enough to step away. That and the Dbag Hebrew Israelites were the primary instigators.

Are you only considered a veteran if you actually saw action in the war zone itself?

Please provide them, I'll happily admit I was wrong.

Fact check, Snopes: Did Senator Richard Blumenthal Misrepresent His Military Service? Answer: Mostly true.

For lefties with favorite politicians:

Bill Clinton misspoke.
Richard Blumenthal misrepresented.
Donald Trump lied.

You said "At no point did they do the "tomahawk chop"." There was a short period of time where several did.

1) The media lied about Phillips' service to push this already fake story.

2) Not once has Phillips manned up and corrected the record.

Phillips is no stranger to the media. But I don't think the media lied; I think they were sloppy and just ran with what they thought they knew without checking.

You said "At no point did they do the "tomahawk chop"." There was a short period of time where several did.

Actually, if you watch, they are just bouncing to the music with their hands up. No chopping motion or strict movements. I posted several vids of various dancers doing the same move earlier in the thread. They are just trying to figure out what is going on and trying to play along with the music.

John Kerry, ran for president. As for your second question, retired from the Army, but thankfully not nearly as old as you are. So again, what the **** does Kerry have to do with this story?

Kerry was not respected by his fellow soldiers who portrayed him as a soft privileges Hollywood coward who hid from real fighting and only came out of protective cover when the bullets stopped flying in order to have his picture taken as though he won the battle himself as fearful leader and guide of more timid troops.

Kerry returned to the US early as a result of 4 separate minor wounds he supposedly received in combat and ended up testifying before Congress to lend support to the lying claims of anti-war activist veterans claiming supposed widespread war crimes and horrific atrocities committed by the US in Vietnam. The press coverage was sensational and, while Kerry did not appear to claim he saw any crimes himself, he left the impression that he was fully aware of such widespread criminal activities himself.

Practically none of the wild allegations of war crimes were ever confirmed by investigators dispatched to look into the allegations. That reminds me of the lack of evidence we are finding today to support Trump/Russian collusion conspiracy theories.

No, I'm saying Leftists are idiots.

It was very relevant when this lie first came out.

Wow, dumb right wing trolls calling leftist idiots. Great, we take that as a badge of honor. Rather be a empathetic liberal than some greedy, ignorant, racists, right wing scumbag any day

The "tomahawk chop" is just made up crap like claiming the OK sign is a secret KKK signal to call someone a racist. But even if any did, so what?

You would rather be an idiot Leftist? That's your right. I support it 100%

It is about all the claims of "honorable" service as a Vietnam veteran. He was a deserter, was locked up and booted out. Anyone who goes in as an E1 and out as an E1 did not honorably serve.

Liberals tell us that's the same thing as a lie.

Come on now. Yeah they do including the chant. I agree that they were probably confused as a group as to what the ****head leftist was even doing in the first place and maybe thought they were going along with him...but they did.

Then say they did. Just be honest. Hell...the Chiefs fans did it on national TV and noone seemed to care. Just be honest.

You're only a Vietnam veteran if you served in country.

Tell the US government that. They believed my father was a veteran of World War 2.

My uncle was in the army during the Korean War. He spent the entire war in Arizona. He just was buried last year in the Veteran's Cemetery in Phoenix. With full honors and a plaque where his urn is. He never spent a day in Korea.

I'd be very interested for which video and what time stamp they actually make any chopping motion. Since it didn't happen, I suppose it will be a long wait.

Are you only considered a veteran if you actually saw action in the war zone itself?
No. Every former service member (excluding those discharged while in boot camp and follow on initial training) is considered a veteran.

Claiming he is a Vietnam veteran is like claiming someone in prison for rape was "in state law enforcement" because state law enforcement ran the prison.

He did not serve in the Marines because he went AWOL and was booted out. AWOL exactly means NOT serving, doesn't it?

25 seconds in.

Does every former servicemember claim they are Vietnam veterans returning to the country and being spat on by hippie girls, when in fact they never left the country and didnt join until after the marines were no longer fighting in Vietnam?

Sweartagawd...I DO NOT understand why people feel compelled to defend that piece of ****. He lied about his term of service, his location of service, and his job in the military.

Are you only considered a veteran if you actually saw action in the war zone itself?

No one is question his status as a 'vet'. The question is in regard to his self proclaimed status as a Vietnam Vet, his trauma of 'returning' to the country as a Vietnam vet and being spat on by hippie chicks, and his duty status as a 'Recon Ranger'. Recon is an elite status. Rangers (and Army service component) is an elite status. There is no such thing as a "Recon Ranger", and we know from a records search that he served 4 parts of 4 years (the parts he wasnt AWOL on multiple occasions) that he was a stateside refrigerator mechanic.

So again...the question is why do so many people feel compelled to defend that piece of **** when he is a known and proven ****ing liar? And the answer seems to be...they know their own.
