This is yet another example of idiot leftists doing their kneejerk "must...defend...leftist...assholes!!!" schtick, and frankly, I doubt they even know why they feel compelled to do it.

The ****head was NEVER in-country so he never had to describe "coming back to the U.S. as a veteran of the Vietnam era". He was never Recon, never a LuRP, never the nonexistent 'recon ranger', and never a ****ing ranger period. Unless that was his fancy way of saying he worked on oven ranges and stove tops, because his entire time he was a ****ing refrigerator mechanic. And hey...no one is knocking anyone that is a refrigerator mechanic or that honorably did their job as a refrigerator mechanic either stateside or overseas, combat or noncombat. Just dont ****ing LIE about it and claim you are something you arent.

There you go again! As far as I can see Phillips is guilty of serving his country, honorably, and his tribe with dedication. And I think he was honestly, in his heart, trying to defuse a bad situation by beating his drum. He stole nothing and did nothing to warrant you calling him a pos.

Stolen valor, how? He served during the Vietnam era, so he’s a Vietnam era vet. Disreputable right wing crazy sources are working overtime to slander and smear him, so I wouldn’t believe anything they say. Their agenda is politics of personal destruction, which is despicable.

It really shouldn't be this important to be able to simultaneously admit that (1) a lot of groups were bad actors in the videos, (2) people who make tomahawk chop signs at natives while mimicking and mocking them are being racist, instead of mere dicks.

But don't worry. I'm well aware that racism is a myth invented by liberals to victimize conservatives, that rare breed that is superior to liberals in every way but somehow always always gets nailed to a cross. I'm well aware that the narrative must be that whomever an alleged liberal criticized must be an innocent martyr, and any actual perpetrators must have been liberals. I'm sorry people can't just admit that those kids were ****s no matter what other bad things other people did.

At no point did they do the "tomahawk chop". They did jump up and down while singing and laughing and trying to figure out why the lying attention whore was approaching them beating the drum. As you watch that section, you can see as they slowly start to realize he wasn't being playful but a dick and calm down and go back to leaving him alone.

In addition, the tomahawk chop is not typically racist.

In fact, racism is very real. It's very concerning to all of us rational people. That's why we get bothered so much when the water is muddied with lies like accusing these kids of it. I'm sorry that you want to make the problem worse, but we are looking to address real problems, not make up more.

Ah yes, an age-old tactic. Try to bootstrap the credibility of a "there's no racism here" post by claiming to be a real opponent of racism, unlike the person being responded to. Because after all, someone who expresses worry about "very real" racism is more trustworthy when they say making tomahawk chops against natives while mocking them is not "typically" racist.

I have long believed and practiced that severe comments should be withheld until the facts are in. Anybody that remembers when the Bowie Bergdahl incident first came to light, I did not respond, saying I was not going to until after the investigations were done. Then once they came in I let him have it. I simply do not comment on undeveloped information.

And the results are finally in. The guy was a Marine, but that is about it. Everything else he tried to say or imply is bogus. He served 4 years, was discharged at the rank of E-1 Private (the rank that most will stay in no more than 6 months after enlisting), was a pattern troublemaker, and was kicked out after serving many times in the brig.

And while I frequently mention This Ain't Hell (TAH) as my "go to" site for Stolen Valor questions, another I closely watch is Chief Don Shipley. He is a real Navy SEAL, and mostly is involved in busting "Fake SEALs". But he also works closely with TAH, and he is the one that brought the truth hear to light. Primarily because if Chief Lying Mouth was accurate about being a "Recon Ranger", that means he would have had to attend BUD/S, and Chief Shipley had all the records of that. He probably called in some other friends and was able to get his DD-214 and posting record.

This should now bust any claims that Phillips was an "Honorable Marine", he was not. And TAH has also added their final comments on the matter.

Every time someone demands a link of me and I provide it, they skip thread. Pretend it didn't happen. So if you see some kids holding their arm at a right angle.....that is out parallel to the ground at the shoulder, after elbow raised......and they start waving it such that the hand chops up and down, is it going to be "not a tomahawk chop, this is <bull>"?

Is it instead retreat back to "In addition, the tomahawk chop is not typically racist."?

1) The media lied about Phillips' service to push this already fake story.

2) Not once has Phillips manned up and corrected the record.

He was listed as AWOL, at ine point during his time un service.
