I read it yesterday.
Ah. I was away and was just catching up this morning.
I read it yesterday.
Come on now, he's just a 25-year old rookie.I see Aaron Judge is AL Rookie of the Year. Good thing they don't look at playoff flops.
27 strikeouts in 48 plate appearances, with only 4 dingers and a whopping Batting Average of .188. Pride of the Yankees he is not
The stars are aligned for the Big D's. But its only 7 games ... one bad outing, one slump and it could all change.
The Jury is still out on Judge. He could be a big star, and being in NYC is always a plus if you're a star. BUT he could also be 1 of those guys who thrives on bad pitching when at home in a Very hitter friendly park but struggles big time when facing good pitching in a real ballpark.
Next year will be his do or die. The book is out on him on how to pitch him.
Seager and McCarthy replace Granderson and Farmer on roster. Astros only have two LH pitchers, not close to enough. Expect the Dodgers to exploit the Astros' catchers stealing bases.
Over/under still dropping for both 5 and 9 innings for game one. I expect under 3.5 in 5 and over 7 for 9 innings but I only jumped on the 5 inning split ...
So the AAA shortstop stayed on the roster.

That AAA shortstop you refer to is sure playing better than Trea Turner did ...
Batting Judge 2nd was stupid. Headley had very good stats coming in and hit well deep in the order. Yanks should have loaded their lineup with lefties up front against Verlander, Morton, and McCullers ...

Culberson is hitting .500 in the post season and is a good fielder. Keeping him on the roster allows the Dodgers to use Seager as DH. The other AAA guy, Farmer, is gone. No loss there. Granderson gone, finally. Brandon McCarthy added back and Joc Pederson made it.
The weak spots on the roster from an offensive standpoint are Utley, Forsythe and Pederson.
There are no weak spots on the pitching staff.
I'll take Turner, thanks.
Oh come on.. Who can't like these old Astros uniforms? lol Maybe the ugliest ever, in any sport.

Terrible leadoff hitter against the Cubs subpar pitching recently ...
Had a poor series. He wasn't the only one. He missed almost half the season with a broken wrist and was just getting back into form at the end.
Rizzo's non use of the bench that carried the Nats all year should have led to his dismissal ...
Not Rizzo's call. That was Dusty.
Rizzo made ALL the calls, such as not starting Roark ...
You are misinformed.
Rizzo will be History after he loses Harper next year ...
