Major League Baseball 2017

I still can't believe Altuve going opposite field. 5'6", 160 lbs soaking wet, jacks one to the opposite field.

And, of course, that play at the plate. What a gutsy throw by Bregman. That could have gone real bad, real quick.

Kudos to the Astros. Although the umpire was damn awful tonight and Charlie Morton was cheating.... they were the better team.

This young Yankees team will rebound. Hopefully, the Dodgers win one for Tommy Lasorda

Dodgers need to combat Dallas Keuchel with Yu Darvish, Justin Verlander with Clayton Kershaw.

McHugh will have to add to Morton and McCullers in the WS. Keuchel and Liriano were their only two lefties. That should change with Dodger lefty bats ...

Just happy those Yankees finally got knocked out (being a Blue Jay fan and all)!!!

I have nothing but respect for Aaron Judge and especially Chapman as well.
I would pay good money to see Chapman throw a 103MPH heater past any hitter.

Cheers!!

Aaron Judge will just have to wait a year or two before he makes the big show.

In the meantime, my money is on the Dodgers to take the whole thing away.
These guys are stacked!!! Homeys know whats up!!!!!

(yes, I know I been drinking)

You are not even an Astros fan?

LOL! That's rich. I am not surprised given the most relevant things the Blue Jays did was one of their players getting punched for being a POS.

Sorry Bucky, I know you're a Yankee fan, but this just isnt your year.

And yes, Blue Jays havent done anything relevant lately. We know that

When the Yankees had to play in a real ballpark against good pitching they scored 3 runs in 4 games.

The new Yankee Stadium is a joke, it's a little league park. In other ballparks on the road there usually isn't a right field fence where a hard bunt might be an HR. The Yankees got the 'baby bombers' at home, but away from Yankee Stadium the Yankees are going to need spectacular pitching to win.

I don't think their pitching is good enough yet, they need 1-2 more stud starters.

I think Yankees are a bit too young to win WS this season, they need 1 o r 2 more maturing years.

But then again, WTF do I know. Cheers!!

Well said.

How do you value our Jays for 2018???

Thought there was supposed to be a AL team in the world series.

Oh well, at least the world doesn't have to deal with insufferable New Yorkers. The world has enough of that already.

Oh I don't mind bucky. I'm mostly talking about social media. New York teams got lots of coverage and thats annoying to a West Coaster like me.

The insufferable Yankee fan(s) in THIS thread are NOT from NY.. LOL

Yeah, NYC=media center. and 9 mil people, not counting the millions in the Tri-State NYC area. PLUS NYC is a baseball town, the Mets and Yankees are very popular in this whole area. Listen to WFAN and the callers talk baseball all 12 months.

But I hear you.

Red Sox just hired Cora as the next manager.

Great move..... I love it.

Yep. Good hire. I like the Mets hire too. Callaway. Indians pitching coach. Mets are all about pitching. Hiring a pitching coach for their manager is a good idea. IMO.

YEP...... NYC is 24/7/365 baseball. Spent many a snowy nights in the Lombardi rest area on the pike in my truck listening to baseball talk outta the city.

Not knocking Farrell at all, but he's not a motivational guy. Cora is intense, friendly, and is always looking for the edge and sharing it with players to help them.

Bring in a good number 4 spot hitter and the Sox will be back. I see the AL east as being a power house for the next 10 years with all the young talent of the Yankees and Sox.
