MacGregor/Mayweather Who You Got and Did You Buy the Live Version?

McGreggor is a great fighter, Mayweather, a great boxer. And they're in a boxing rink. My money is on Mayweather, but I think it'll be a boring fight to watch.

McGregor wins by choking Mayweather out.

;)

Of course I think Mayweather wins. It is a boxing match. Like someone else here said, it is like Wayne Greksy challenging an Olympic figure skater to a figure skating competition.

And I am on the road so I am not paying for it.

$100 to watch it in my house, all bars/restaurants around me charging at least $15 cover to come in and watch it. I've never heard of a bar/restaurant charging a cover to watch a ppv event. Looks like I'll just watch it on YouTube tomorrow morning.

And, that's only if the written reports make it sound worth doing even that.

Now, that I can see. If I found myself away on business on a Saturday night, I'd probably ding the home office for the $100 PPV and say, "Hey, it was either paying for that fight or you were going to be buying me a stripper escort to come up to my room."

Have any professional boxers ever competed in an MMA match? I have seen some Golden Gloves do it, and lose, but I don't recall any pros.

I forgot the name, but one dude competed in Bellator while trying to wear a boxing glove on his strong hand... he got his ass beat.

Correct, it might not even be worth watching for free. I'm going to try to catch it before I know who won.

F**CK Cocky McGregor! The Buffalo WildWings near me has the fight $25/person. My wife blessed me to go. Gunna pass anyway. We have custody of my wife's sister's three grandkids, a 9 monther, 5 yr old and 7 yr old, this weekend. The parents, part of a party of ten, did a 5 BR AirBnb rental in Miami Beach for the weekend. They want to wear Gucci, stroll South Beach, and role play as Beautiful People.

I can watch the replay tomorrow. I want Floyd to knock McGregor out!

Almost everywhere is charging a cover to watch the fight. I would have went with my husband, but we decided not to go. We watch MMA, so I have seen MccGreggor fight. I saw him lose a fight once too. I have never seen Mayweather fight. I kind of think Mayweather will win.

It could possibly not even last long. One might TKO the other in round one. If MccGreggor wins, it will probably be TKO and not boxing skills.

My sister did MMA cage fighting for a while. She was trained in wrestling and various forms of martial arts. Whenever she got in the cage with a boxer, she would get pounded really bad. Boxers tend to be good fighters at standing. Fighters like my sister have a chance if they can get them on the ground, and she was really good at chokes and pins. In a boxing match, MccGreggor can only fight on his feet. He is limited.

But at the same time, he knows that all his opponent can do is punch, so that's all he needs to look out for. He doesn't need to watch for kicks and takedowns.

But that is what Mayweather is great at. Punching and avoiding getting punched

McGregor is a very very good MMA fighter who is being limited in how he fights

If they were going to do a MMA fight, Mcgregor would slaughter Mayweather,

Can't see boring Mayweather losing. At least Mcgregor will be exciting. I can't understand how anyone can like Mayweather. So boring.

Truth! I think Mayweather wins, but it is an interesting dynamic putting two fighters of different skill sets against each other in one of the fighters' sport's rules. Just not interesting enough for me to pay money to watch it. Lol!

Watching a Spanish live feed right now. I cant understand it unfortunately

No there are still 2 fights before the main event

That's the one thing I hate most about boxing. No one ever knows the damn start time of the main event! If it is advertised as 9pm, the main event should start at 9pm. But in reality, 9pm means there are five other matches and the main event starts at midnight. That is annoying!

The fight was delayed due to PPV traffic issues, but it seems to be going on right now.

Ah, good. That means it's time for me to be going to bed. :)

I'd say McGregor won the first 2 rounds
