Look, if it turns out that Mexican detention centers are treating people better than our own, will you at least admit that we need to take a serious look at the business of warehousing people for profit, something you previously said did not even exist?

Now that Mexico has agreed to do more to waylay people crossing their country for our border, someone will be looking at conditions in these Mexican detention centers.

There simply is NO WAY IN HELL I can take you seriously about the illegal immigration problem when you side with the people detaining them for money, with those illegals as their meal ticket to prosperity.
Why on Earth would they want LESS illegals when that would be a threat to their bottom line?

It is IMPOSSIBLE to be on the side of detention center owners AND be for restricting immigration of any kind.

I attempted to bow out earlier if you will recall. I really don't care that you place a floating age limit on illegality. That is your world pursuit and mine to resist. That you find the use of children as a place seeking tool is not hideous and reprehensible says much about your self imposed blindness to obvious.practicality. At this point in time, I oppose immigration in toto, and will until it is of benefit to the immigrant and my country.

Its not disgusting. Illegal aliens have no right to be here. It doesn't matter if they have families here or not. The offender's family is irrelevant.Their family can go with them if they feel so strongly about staying together.

How do you feel

Anyone who entered the country illegally or has remained here past the terms of their legal stay should be deported post haste. If this means "families" instead of merely individuals, then so be it. Those individuals breaking the law only have themselves to blame. You're right: there's something disgusting going on here. But the disgusting part is the people who want to excuse lawlessness as a "political stunt". It's no stunt to enforce the law and to expect those living here (or wanting to live here) to do likewise.

To the extent that the deported people are going to be "hurt", they have only themselves to blame. Shame on you for your lack of concern over how much the presence of - and tolerance for - illegal immigrants hurts American citizens, taxpayers and lawful immigrants. Your feelings are bass ackward.
