I really am beginning to believe in the witch hunt theory. Know what I got this morning? Somebody offering me a ten-day trial on a new porn site, at least that was the subject line. Of course, I simply deleted the email. In fact, I deleted my whole junk mail folder without even LOOKING at subject lines. So here are my questions....

Since they can’t identify the person who sent it, how do they even know it was legitimate?
Unless Jr. acted on the email, why is that such a big deal?
And even if he DID act on the email, why is that such a big deal?

All were getting are drinks and drabs of puzzles within mazes. This **** is really getting pretty old. If all it’s going to take to prove somebody sent an email to Jr and he’s then convicted in the court of public opinion bynhis enemies? The Dems had better watch out. If you read the article, you'll find that an unknown source sent the email and they don't even know if the source was associated with wikileaks. Then, you'll find that no one responded to it.

So, yes, I would like to ask you what "proof" you found in that article.

What seems to be happening is the media is simply following the oldest rule in sales... find out what your customer wants and provide him with it.

There is a large segment of the population that is rabidly anti-Trump and they want to hear about how he is going down. They want stories, true or not, which feed that hunger. The media is simply giving them what they want.

Real journalism died a long time ago.

We don't know if the person that sent the email truly is associated with Wikileaks or not, but the fact that it was detailed enough to include an address and pass key is not a good sign; they'll need to be further investigating. We do know that Jr reached out to them before, which is also not a good indicator.

Sessions has lied, Kushner has lied, Page has lied, Flynn has lied, Don Jr has lied, and it just goes on and on like this.

The don't know it's legitimate. That's why it said this in the link in your post:

Congressional investigators are trying to ascertain whether the individual who sent the September email is legitimate and whether it shows additional efforts by WikiLeaks to connect with Trump's son and others on the Trump campaign. The email also indicated that the Trump campaign could access records from former Secretary of State Colin Powell, whose hacked emails were made public by a Russian front group 10 days later.

Congressional investigators are uncertain who the sender is, and CNN was unable to make contact with the individual. It's not clear whether the email was a legitimate effort to provide the hacked documents to the Trump campaign.

Remember, there is an investigation into Russian interference in our elections. This would be an attempt on their part to interfere with the election if they were involved in it.

No evidence that Junior acted on it, but if he did, that would actually be a problem since WikiLeaks has been declared by the CIA as a "non-state hostile intelligence service often abetted by state actors like Russia".
