I’ll play your game anyways. Where would Trump paint his messages of division, exclusion, and twisted, amoral so-called patriotism? He has no authority to paint it on any public street in the United States. That would be outside the boundaries of his authority.

He can’t even do so on any military base. He could probably get away with a non-political message though. What Trump message would you like painted over the entrance to your base?

Decorations and symbols brought in by employees are protected if they are seen as mostly secular in nature (Christmas trees and similar decorations). If the actual government provides (sponsors) them, that becomes the issue.

Get it straight, I said Black Lives Matter isn’t a political message. Black Live Matter is a social movement, not a political one. And members speaking in support of that movement at the DNC convention does not change that.

Both major parties invite speakers representing a variety causes. One of the speakers at the 2016 RNC conference was Peter Thiel, PayPal co-founder, who spoke about technology, the economy, and gay rights.

Well BLM shouldn't have been, nor gay rights, a woman's rights to her own body, or sensible immigration laws. The extreme right wing of the GOP has pandered to the scared white Americans who fear being a minority. The shoe being put on their foot doesn't seem to appeal to them. Who'da thunk... :roll:

The GOP wants to return to the 50's on cultural issues. Thinks somehow bringing back major industries will reset society. The Dems know longing for the good ol' days is futile. One the one hand the rabid right claims we should adapt to climate change and not try to stop it, but seems completely against cultural climate change and want to stand against the winds of change...

Actually you are attempting to put words in my mouth. I never claimed that you said all black people killed by police were murdered. However you do give the impression with your posting that you think there is a systemic problem of blacks killed by way of police brutality. Of all of the publicized cases of blacks killed in confrontations with police, there is only one that is a clear case of murder. That would be George Floyd. All of the other cases were determined to be justified killings. And once again the confrontation that Black Lives Matter started all of the protesting and looting over was the Michael Brown case in Fergeson, Missouri. And that was absolutely determined to be a justified killing. When you reach into a cops squad car and attempt to wrestle a cop's gun from him, it will not likely end well for you. The "hands up, don't shoot" narrative that the left pushed was a flat out lie. I am only asking you for intellectual honesty.

You are quite confused and just flat making it up as you go along. I have not claimed that the democrats racist past and history with the KKK makes them the party of the KKK today. I did state that the democrats absolutely welcomed Democrat Senator Robert "KKK Byrd and other democrats back into the party from the dixiecrat fold. And two of today's most prominent democrats, one of which(Hillary) was defeated by Trump and the other appears to be your party's nominee for president in 2020(Joe Biden), both at one point claimed Byrd as a friend and mentor. I will state that the vast majority of racism that exists today in in the democrats party fold. And I can give examples.
