Ever notice that this is the stand that conservatives take whenever another Catholic Priest or average Christian gets caught? One shouldn't use one to define the whole, right? Yet, pedophilia is the go-to for conservatives whenever they wish to bash another community. You've seen this plenty of times:

- When it comes to homosexuals adopting a kid, it's only for one reason, right?
- When it comes to the LGBTQ (the lettering has become so obnoxious), the community is simply rampant with perversion and pedophilia, right?
- Oh, and let's not forget that massive and rampant pedophilia ring among Democrats in D.C. called QAnon. Is Q still secretly working with Trump to expose them all?

You see, conservatives don't get to act wounded over a person pointing out yet another Christian getting caught, while conservatives routinely accuse and attack entire communities that they hate. In the meantime, Bridget Ziegler, co-founder of Mom's For Liberty, a conservative organization that rages against LGBT rights, was exposed as having threesomes with other women! So it becomes hard to take conservatives serious when they start preaching morality and raging about what they claim to hate.

For that matter, this need to generalize doesn't even stay with the subject of pedophilia. We were all pissed off that Bin Laden accused all Americans over the 9/11 attack simply because we elect our government. But, today, all Palestinians deserve the current war because they voted for Hamas, right? I guess we understand and appreciate Bin Laden now? Years and years of indoctrinated Right-wing political extremism is to blame for this routine position of generalized irrational hate.

Living a life of agape love toward others based on moral values and a strong sense of self worth as a child of God. I'm not looking for praise or approval from others and I'm not looking to denigrate others so I won't be making a list of "accomplishments."

Beyond the apparent hypocrisy cited, this is part of a growing and serious problem, which is the rise of 'Internet 3.0' (aka AI) to generate all kinds of images without the consent of the subject of the photo.

Memo to parents: take your kids' images down from social media, or at least have very strict policies as to who has access to them. You control posting or not. Once that happens, you have zero control over what happens with those images, and the internet is forever.

Right... and that's great. I'm just wondering what being white or male or straight has to do with any of that. What did you have to overcome as a white, straight male in order to show this love to others, or to be a child of God? Or to accomplish this list that you refuse to show?

Because what you're saying is on par with saying I'm proud to have a big toe. You were born that way, there was no achievement, nothing you did to make that happen. Gay pride, black pride, etc isn't just about identity, it's about what they were able to accomplish *despite* their identity, because of a long history of being marginalized specifically *because* of their identity.

So, what did you overcome, as a straight, white, Christian male, that was harder to do as a straight, white, Christian male, that you now feel proud of? Tell me that, I'll show up for your parade.

I have no idea what you're on about. My being proud has nothing to do with overcoming anything, it's about satisfaction in being who I am and how I live while having nothing to feel guilty about. What liberals seem to think being proud involves is denograting others and bragging about being superior for merely doing what we're all put on earth to do.

That's rather like challenging you to prove you're real by punching me. Now I can't speak for you, but personally, I do not feel the need to prove I exist to another by punching them, even when challenged to do so.

Also, setting aside your True Scotsman fallacy, while a Christian might not deny Jesus and/or God, in and of itself, that doesn't mean that they don't deny the existence of how another Christian presents those two.

Don't get salty, you're the one who dropped the qualifiers. Nobody would have questioned you if you had just said "I'm proud of myself and my accomplishments". I mean, it would have been off topic for the thread, but there would be nothing problematic about it.

But you specifically said you were proud of being a straight white Christian male. You created that partition, and made the assertion that simply being a straight white Christian male is something to be proud of. On a debate forum. Don't get mad that people have questions. If you're so proud, a little scrutiny shouldn't put you on the defensive.

Maybe the better word is happy. You're happy to be a straight, white, Christian male. Hell, I'd agree with you, I'm happy too, who wouldn't be? We have had it statistically easier then most. But accomplishing things while having it easier than most isn't exactly a source of pride, is it?

Nothing wrong with being proud of that, it is when they take their pride and use it to diminish people who are different than them.

EXAMPLE: I am a liberal SNOWFLAKE and proud of it. If anyone finds fault with that I just remind them I ham what I ham, not get all squishy and defensive. I would say those that do get all squishy and defensive aren't as sure of themselves as they let on.

Well, actually IT IS. I pride myself for having had a successful carrier, and retiring comfortably. So yes, it is a source of pride. BUT......................and this is what some folks seem to miss, especially the person you are responding to....................... my pride in MY accomplishments is not something I will lord over someone else, I would NEVER say........

Well, actually it's not possible at all, because as the master of my own domain, I know myself to have always been agnostic at least, and most often a complete non-believer in the existence of a supernatural god.

Why are you so invested in me being a *real* Christian as opposed to the obvious fact that I'm not by my own declarations and conduct. After all, I'm a guy who originally signed up with the name "Moist Splooge" before I was forced to change it. Jesus would definitely not approve of dick and cum jokes.

I didn't accuse anyone of having unhealthy pride, I merely stated a fact. There are, however, many examples of unhealthy pride in our current public discourse that is actually hubris. Many declarations of pride such as gay pride and black pride is based on attack of others, attacks such as white toxcity, and male toxcity, and straight toxcity. That is unhealthy pride...actually it's not pride at all, it's just hatred.

Having seen some images created with an AI graphic render, I think its more likely the perve used photoshop as apposed to an AI. AI will take a photo and covert it to whatever it likes BUT it will also change the face. Only a editing program will allow someone to combine 2 images to look as one. Example is the recent uproar about Princess Kate before the revelation she has cancer.

Granted I don't know what ALL AIs can do.
