Because People Getting to Keep Their Money Is the Worst Thing Ever

You're kidding, right?

Corporations have been revving up in expectation of this tax relief and by the cuts in regulations that Trump has already made. Putting a president in office that's not an anti-business socialist, always threatening business with more taxes and regulations, as Obama did, makes all the difference.

Pro tip: The improvement that you see in the economy due to changes in government almost always start before the changes are actually made. They are made if the promise of change is credible.

Where do you come up with this crap?

The best way to stimulate demand (and thus encourage expansion and hiring) is to provide material tax relief to the middle class, who will spend it.

This, 1000 times this. Plus another thousand

Which is why the economy almost always improves under the Democrats and tanks when Republicans take over.

Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, and yet...........the hack liberals keep using corporations as their boogie man.

https://www.sba.gov

Water is good for you but hack liberals keep saying drowning is a bad thing!!!!,

I would question it, if it came from a liberal. ;)

I know you would. In fact, it ****in happened. Michelle Obama said kids should drink more water and right wingers got mad.

Trying to lump "small businesses" in with the corporate activity liberals oppose is ludicrous. I'm not ok with Verizon, Comcast et al buying the FCC's vote on a regulation that will ultimately lead to less competition and less entrepreneurship on the internet. The majority of the population supports net neutrality but the FCC is overturning it because high level donors told them to. But your propaganda folks somehow have tried to turn that into me hatin Ma's Cookie Shop in Brainerd, MN.

And you bought it, because LIBRULS BAD HURF DURF

Lower tax rates and regulatory costs offsets higher labor costs. I have no doubt that plenty of americans would rather employ americans than chinese.

Plenty of Americans would rather employ Americans than Chinese. Too bad the Trump family aren't among that group.

You and you cohorts have "corporate on the brain"

Nothing is going to happen to the internet that wasn't already in place in 2014.

Yeah, and abuaive practices occurred before 2014 that adversely affected competition and innovation.

So what are you disputing about the elements of what I linked to?

Oh, wait. That's way, WAY above your intellectual paygrade.

As a small business owner who does pretty good for himself, I would prefer to take the opinions of my accountant over some self credited internet intellectual like yourself.

It wasn't my opinion, it was that of a CPA.

Sorry her article frightened you so that you couldn't cite a single problem you found with it.

It'll be OK.

You worship a CNN opinion piece by a person with a paid agenda.

Most of us small business owners live in the real world and pay our accountants pretty well.

You never ran a thing in your life, so I guess I can see why you lean on opinion pieces. :lamo

Yup, there's your pathological dishonesty, right on cue. Never fails.

Yawn. I've owned two small businesses (still have minority interest in the first one).

Seriously, given that you're so desperate to be taken seriously, why lie so often?

I notice you STILL can't cite anything she got wrong, and between your tears can't let the irrelevant fact that it was hosted at CNN go.

Poor thing.

BS! LOL did you sell candles and arts & crafts on Ebay?

I don't give a **** what some CNN writer says....got it?

When MY accountant tells me the in's and out's.................I will pay attention.

Not to some hack like yourself. You are so full of it.

You never ran a thing.

Awwwww. you're upset because your wittle wie got called out and you can do nothing but sputter and wheeze, as usual. Pouting is so unbecoming.

This really seems to be intellectually challenging for you on a profound level: it's the accountant whose article I linked to, not me. And you STILL haven't addressed anything she said.
You never ran a thing.

Whatever you need to tell yourself to prevent your little world from imploding.

One would think that Internet tough guys like you wouldn't fall to pieces because of one little article.

Oh, well.

Realistically if you are going to make cuts to save money, you would have to make huge costs to defense which is by far our largest expense....and Republicans are never willing to do that.

You might want to get your facts straight before making such ridiculous easily disproved nonsense

Tax Reform Angst on the Left

Liberals compare the tax bill to the Fugitive Slave Act, using terms like "corrupt", "budget busting", and "cruel".

So it must be a really good bill.

Liberals regard any effort to reduce the amount of money that is being taken from producers and given to their non-productive friends as "cruel" and evil, hence the comparison to the Fugitive Slave Act, because it was, you know, evil. Other than being evil, and Republicans voting for it even thought they had to know it's evil, there's no connection. Because boosting the economy by cutting taxes and regulations? That's just nonsense.

Have you ever heard of the French Revolution?

Nice work!

I didn't fall to pieces because I didn't read it. Keep thumping your chest anyways....................:lamo

As I have already stated, I will go off what my accountant tells me to do. Right now, it's a LLC instead of being a sole proprietor, but then again, I could get better real world experience by reading what some ass clowns have to say on a internet forum?

You never ran a thing in your life, so please stop with the pretentious BS.

Ah, so you're frightened of an article. Got it. Thanks.

Your accountant is quite irrelevant to what I linked to, as she was speaking on a macro level. Or, to put it in terms you'd understand, 'big'.

Your pathological need to lie is quite a thing to behold. Odd that you're so desperate to be taken seriously despite that rather glaring handicap

The only thing that frightens me Tanngrisnir is that people like you are left alone in the dark with no friends and a keyboard.

There, there... things won't be so scary once you've calmed down and returned to your safe space for some more stuffed animal therapy.

Hope your self-hatred issues work themselves out!

You can keep this up all night long, but the fact remains that you sold yourself on a click and paste opinion piece instead of explaining yourself how small business is going to be hurt by this tax plan.

If you were in fact a business person you would already know:

Tools can be deducted once instead of the BS depreciation value over a X amount of years..................computers , cars, trucks, tools, etc.

25% rate.

Fully deduct small business loans.......... ya know, like expansion?

A savvy internet intellectual like yourself would already know this if you ever ran anything bigger than a Ebay candle sale.

You have to understand. It's how it works these days. To those on the left. . . .

--If you cut the growth in spending you are forcing granny to eat dogfood and killing women and putting innocent children on the street. Think of a puppy in the rain.

--If the guy who is paying thousands of dollars in taxes gets to keep more of his money while the guy who isn't paying any taxes doesn't see any difference, you are taking away from the poor guy and giving all the breaks to the rich. Never mind that the rich guy might be in a better position to offer the poor guy a raise or a better job.

--If you kill funding for something that has wasted the taxpayer's money for years, even decades, without producing any evidence of anything good for anybody other than those wasting the money, you have taken away education or research or science or safety or protections or pick whatever wasteful program of choice. Never mind that the money not wasted might then be available for something useful to people or reduce the deficit or slow down or start paying down a national debt that will crush us if we continue as we have.

--But most importantly, if it is the Trump Administration or the GOP who is promoting a tax package, it must be misrepresented, mischaracterized, demonized, and trashed in every way possible to make people believe there is nothing good in it.

That's how it works.
