Donald Trump is selling $60 Bibles as he seeks funds for for campaign, legal bills

Look again. The quotes are there from the Washington Post. Pay more attention to the details. Not sure how you could have missed them.

No, the actual FAQ is there. Just the summary that "it assures..." Look closer, LOL. Not sure how you could have missed it.

Just don't worry about it, I know you can't find the actual information. I'll look it up myself. (shrug)

He'll just use it to help pay his legal bills for his porn star hush money and his fraud, I guess. Or to buy a new gold toilet or something.

Watch for the Biden campaign ads featuring numerous Traitor Trump senior administration officials and advisers criticizing their former boss. 😄
George W Bush and his VP, Dick Cheney, won't endorse him.
Former VP Dan Quayle won't endorse him.
Former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney won't endorse him.

And here's the topper: His own former VP and running mate won't endorse him!

It's almost enough to conclude that there's maybe something wrong with the psycho in Mar-a-Lago!

I missed nothing.
You asked for a source. I listed the link with post. Then, you came back saying it's behind a paywall.
Then, I explained that you missed the quotes, I copied and pasted along with the link. Now, in a lame attempt to shift the goal posts you're doubting the sincerity expressed in the quote. That's your prerogative to mistrust the sentiment, what is quoted, but not my problem.

No, you listed a link to a paywall, and a quote with "assures..." which is a summary, not the faq.

The quote was a summary. Not the faq.

So...you didn't even read the faq unless you sub to the Washington Post, which seems unlikely, LOL.

You didn't even have the information, you just believed some summary. But don't worry. I found the actual site to the actual Bible, and found the actual FAQ; you're welcome!

Crazy, that any Constitution supporting, freedom loving American would continue to support Traitor Trump.

All the screeching over Trump selling Bibles is just another leftwing phony outrage, aka a distraction.
It's more than just "Trump selling Bibles."

It's more than just another example of flim-flam man and huckster hustling cash from people with poor judgment to buy a product that you can easily get for free.

It's more than just another example of a hypocrite pretending to be something he isn't, had never been, and has no intention of ever being (a Christian).

It's more than just another example of Trump's towering and beligeretly transparent mendacity ("it's my favorite book!").

By combining the Bibles with copies of the nation's founding documents, Trump's latest money-grubbing racket displays contempt for a fundamental principle upon which the nation was founded: the separation of church and state.

That train left the station on January 6, 2021.

Not much, he's just:

Unfit
Corrupt
Incompetent

Nobody wrote that you don't have the right to express your opinion, or offer a counter, but giving that courtesy should extend both ways.
My original point stands.

Fits right in with the Christo-fascist base he's encouraging, however.

I don't know who/what you're responding to, but it's not to my post.

You wrote that "All the screeching over Trump selling Bibles is just another leftwing phony outrage, aka a distraction"

I responded that it's about more than that.

I see. So there was radio, TV and the internet in the 1800s?
You may have forgotten that you claimed they did not dig through the garbage in the past because there was no TV or radio. Of course, this is an appeal to ignorance fallacy, as I said.

You countered my post. Post 582. I countered back.

Trix is lying, Drumpf collected fees for licensing out his name from the publisher of this "bible". He has ALREADY profited from it. She did not read the Wapo article she linked to.

Where's the lie? I read the entire article, and against forum fair use guidelines to post more than 2-3 paragraphs.

From the article, Post 293,
"The current website for the book includes an FAQ that addresses the question of how the former president benefits from the partnership. It assures visitors that no money from the sale of the Bibles will go to Trump’s political campaign. Instead, “GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”

The onus is on you lot to prove that Trump is using the money to enrich his presidential campaign. Got the proof? Post it.
Of course, you probably don't have the proof that Trump is going to take the profits and use them for his campaign. You appear to be blowing the usual smoke.

I already did, he profited from the sale of his name when he licensed it out to the publisher. The publisher can claim anything they like, the point remains Drumpf is profiting from the sales. I'm not going to get into the multitude of shell companies under Drumpf Inc and connect the strings of what monies go where.

"I have a lot of cash and a great company," Trump said. "I might spend a lot of money on my campaign."

This. He receives royalties. Meanwhile, as he continues to claim to the judge he doesn't have the cash for appeals out one side of his mouth, while crowing that he has plenty of money out the other side, we should notice he is taking the 10 days to scrape up that cash he keeps telling us he already has. (???) And then we have the fact that the RNC is hurting for money, and obviously, Trump can't fund his own campaign...he never could, despite his claims going back to 2015 that he was going to do just that. Both times...this time he DEFINITELY can't. Where's all this money coming from?

Basically, this Bible "royalties" thing is money laundering. The God Bless the USA site is able to say THEIR royalties aren't going to Trump's campaign because they aren't...directly. They're going to Trump.

Where that cash goes from there is none of their business...right?

Bonus: after that point, since the royalty money is "his," Trump CAN say he's paying his campaign "with his own money." See? Nobody had to help him. He's a true businessman! Not some government swamp person. Right?

What a piece of shit.

About the only successful things Trump has ever done is just selling his name for others to use. Trump has never had any other business successes except doing this and being a reality TV person. He's too inept to being any endeavor of his own to fruition. Even with all the property with his name we are finding out that he really only owns a small part of them. He's only good at self promotion and this is mainly because of his ability to lie and the short memories of his marks.
Trump has always relied on the kindness (and stupidity) of strangers.

I'm still trying to understand why it makes any difference if the rapist is using the profits from "bible" sales to fund.....his campaign......his legal bills.......or simply to line his pockets.
