Those websites were started by a certain 3-letter agency for biometric data (spying) via social media, so it kind of is the government. Whether you like Alex Jones or not, this is a major red flag. History has shown us where this is going.

I do not like alex jones at all, except maybe the entertainment value because let's face it watching him rambling about a conspiracy theory that is completely absurb while the veins pop out of his neck and his face turns as red as a tomato makes me laugh. However I should point out there are numerous others who violate the terms of those companies in a far worse degree and can still stay on, for example antifa is still on twitter despite open calls for violence.

Given the whole shadow ban incident and even my own playing around on google duckduckgo and yahoo, it seems more to me they are trying to silence political activists prior to an election. Heck I played around with trump news, the website does not show up on duckduckgo, or google but shows up on yahoo meaning the other two are blocking it, I tried the same with antifa, and found all three blocked news on antifa except old articles, and those that became extremely big, While I found facebook and twitter actually covered news on them.

To me this looks like nothing more than an attempt to silence opposition right before an election, between alex jones and conservative shadow bans, and googles know censorship I say it is almost too obvious.

I do not find it disturbing if websites uphold their user agreements, Jones agreed to those terms by posting on those websites, he did not comply with those user agreements and thus gets kicked off those platforms.

And nobody is censoring him from voicing his views, he can do that online as much as he wants to do, but not on other people's websites where he has to comply with the rules of those websites.

You are turning things around. Facebook has a website, someone wants to use that website. Sure says facebook, but you must comply with these rules or you will get booted from OUR website.

By denying Alex Jones these very popular and widespread platforms, it is censoring him. I also note these platforms don't seem to mind carrying all sorts of other bull****.

He effectively self censored himself by breaking his user agreement. That is on Alex Jones not Facebook. They are allowed to make the rules to post on their website.

My entire family is getting dozens of emails a day from what is called TeaParty.org. It's the most ridiculous spam with crazy ads and absolutely nutty conspiracy crap. My oldest son clicked on the link and it took him to InfoWars.

That organization is rat **** crazy, but I don't want them censored any more than I want Antifa, the KKK, or Westboro Baptist censored. All are awful, but none should be censored, even by private organizations like Google, Facebook, or anyone else. Once we support doing so, we begin to get acclimated to censorship and accepting it as being okay. Which begs the question, at what point will it stop - look to the Brits or even Canada at what can happen to freedom of speech when the people become used to censorship and even government punishment for "bad" speech being accepted by the people.
