Would You Ever Vote AOC For President?

Would You Ever Vote AOC For President?

I am not on any ballot nor will I be.

They were politically ignorant voters who put Trump over the top, low information voters, and I am not expecting them to vote my way. As they say, you can't fix stupid.

Psychologically Trump supporters pose a far more complex problem than simply providing them factual information.

One would have to overcome two major obstacles just to achieve one simple goal.

The Psychology Behind Donald Trump's Unwavering Support | Psychology Today

There was not one red state that elected Trump. Not one. It was Democrats in three blue states who elected Trump. Do you believe that voters in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are low information voters?

We Lefties didn't get to those places because we really don't break our election laws as so many Right Wingers ignorantly and falsely claim we do!

We won the Popular Vote by a resounding margin, but alas, an overwhelming wave of dumb took the Electoral College.

Resounding? Really? 51% to 49% is resounding?

And you may need to start using spell check, too.

When being a grammar/spelling Nazi is all you got, you’ve lost. I accept your concession.

So you would vote how you personally view women as baby makers and servents. Got it.

They don't like her because she's progressive, and they want her to keep her day-job. That's all that can be inferred by the post that you responded to. You're pulling the 'sexist' card on people who are just waiting for people on the left to do exactly that, and the accusation doesn't even stick!

Even if the post you responded to was some sort of dog whistle, all that means is that you just got baited into making this about sexism.

I voted yes - just because I wouldn't rule it out. She needs some seasoning of course and she could benefit from more listening and paying attention.

It's really kind of a moot point though as she won't be around much longer. The rights will dig up some kind of horrific act she did in the past - like maybe she drank the last of the milk and put the container back in the refrigerator. The left will then demand she step down.

She's an idiot that even Pelosi can't stand.

I figured it would be Elizabeth Warren.

It appears they are putting their money on at least a few different numbers to cover all their bets.

I'm sure there is a picture of her in black face somewhere....It's over!

AOC makes the far left seem to be much more moderate (by comparison) - in that sense, Pelosi is likely pleased about her noisy arrival.

I love Warren, and prior to 2016, she would have been the gal that Republicans would be losing their **** over, but Sanders and AOC have more teeth to 'em. Compared to them, Warren is a bit milquetoast.

But her Green New Deal is a headache to Pelosi who likely considers it embarrassing insanity and too much.

Yes, she is of age (in this hypothetical). This is a generic question. No opponents are named. This is just a question of would you ever vote her president or not.

Assuming that her platform remains identical to what it is now? No, I could not, would not vote for her.

The fixation on her is bizarre to me. Being a new member of Congress she is one step above being a nobody in government. The only reason for it is that she is young and some think she is pretty, plus it stunned people how she knocked off one of the highest seniority Democrats in the House of Representatives, scaring many incumbents who generally can not be defeated in their primaries.

If she can make a good cup of coffee, I'll vote for her to keep her barista job.

And folks (on the Right) wonder how the #MeToo movement got started. :doh

As for voting AOC for President, sure...why not? She's proving herself to be just as ambitions and full of grander stuff that would make one a worthy leader as anyone else. So, assuming she meets Art II qualifications, why not?

Assuming she keeps her current political positions, no.

Anyone who plans to vote for AOC better be unemployed or you are going to find out her proposals will put all of us in the poor house. Of course I'm sure she will eventually get the chance to write a book for a few million and I bet she will jump at the money. She doesn't understand or doesn't care that a green deal such as she proposes would put million of people out of work because of the loss of the fuel industry and the fact that the alternatives will never employ as many people. Also alternative fuels are much more expensive and the poor will have to pay higher cost, she doesn't know or doesn't care.

I'm sure she'll "evolve" like everyone else. Age and wisdom seems to have that affect on people.

I'm impressed you correctly spelled milquetoast, rather than posting milk toast. I learned something. Thank you. :)
