Would you be OK if Your Daughter Married a Black Person? World Results

if you want your daughter to marry someone who is the same ethnicity as you and your daughter, what's the problem?

Why is the ethnicity of a potential spouse of a child important to you?

Well some ethnic groups have millennias long history as being a cohesive group. This comes with values and cultural traits and cultural expectations. So it’s not unreasonable members of a specific ethnic group have a preference for their own over outsiders.

Some people do not value this. I value religious values over ethnic solidarity since people of my ethnicity overwhelmingly don’t share my religion. So I’m dating a woman from a conservative Mexican family. But If I were Latvian or Polish or something like that I might feel differently

Sure, but your Blacks are not African immigrant.s

Well - what can I say. You're wrong again. We have 20X as many African immigrants as Sweden. And I'm not even sure why you'd make that distinction. What is your point there?

The US has 2.1 MILLION Black African immigrants. Sweden only has somewhat over 110,000. How long would it have taken you to look those facts up? You seem to prefer just making things up out of thin air.

I have been to Norway, there is literally zero interracial couples to be seen.

Immigrants are not assimilated at all, any non whites live practically separate lives

You saw every couple in Norway?

It's all pink on the inside.

i think that i'd mostly only be pissed if my daughter dated a nazi. i'd make sure to be watching this when she introduced me to him.

This really surprised me. Several of the countries least likely to support this kind of marriage are in Africa, while the Nordic countries seemed most likely to accept it. What might account for this fact?

Would you accept your daughter marrying a black person? Frankly, I thought the percentage of Americans who would accept would be much higher.

I'm married to a white woman.

Yeah, I married someone with different religious beliefs. It didn’t work out, but being called the spawn of Satan once every two weeks was kind of fun.

Saying a person has certain values based on race is a racist statement

It is the definition of racism

Poles are Catholic too though.
