“You must not murder.” Exodus 20:13. She observed that doctors performed “live birth abortions.”

Infanticide Hearing Witness Says Hospital Created ‘Comfort Room’ For Aborted Babies To Die In
Testimony from nurse Jill Stanek asserts that Christ Church Hospital in Illinois created a “comfort room” for aborted babies to die in.
Stanek spoke at a hearing on infanticide in Washington, D.C., where lawmakers and activists spoke out against born-alive abortion.

For those who say this never happened.

House Republicans Hold a Hearing on the Born-Alive Bill
Washington, D.C. — More than two dozen Republican congressmen gathered in the Capitol on Tuesday afternoon to host the minority’s first hearing this Congress before a full crowd of observers, convening a panel of experts to discuss the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

Curious as to why the mainstream media is basically ignoring a news story on infanticide; born alive "abortions".
Christ Hospital offered “comfort care” to babies who were born alive during these abortions, because these babies often survived for at least two hours after they were born. Comfort care, Stanek said, is to wrap the baby in a blanket and keep the baby warm until the baby dies

So the hospital made sure the parents were comforted, had a chance to be photographed with the baby, and the baby was kept clean, warm and comfortable.

And that bothers you? You wanted the baby and the parents to be in agony?

So you're good with infanticide?

If true, it is a murder case on a grand corporate scale.

Disgusting beyond belief.

Killing an infant in this country is illegal.

That's why they're holding hearings so quit being so offhanded about this.

"Jill Stanek has been telling her same story for 2 decades."

So let her tell her story, now is time to speak up. Let her talk.

She's been talking for 20 years. And why do you object to making the infant comfortable?

You do know it's illegal to kill an infant in this country, right?

Of course master of deflection. Why not hear her story, you against free speech too?

Why not make some more strawmen while you're at it?

I heard her story. 20 years ago. She's free to tell it to whomever she wants. Nobody said she couldn't.

Why do you object to a hospital making a baby comfortable before it dies? Why do you object to a hospital letting the parents hold their baby before it dies?

Did I say that? Nope, I can't be bothered even trying to unpick your gibberish.

So then what are you complaining about in this thread? Your subject line is the comfort room. You're complaining about it.

Because that isn’t the whole story. These so-called “comfort rooms” are certainly a step up from dumping the infant in a broom closet until it’s organs fail but this is still a practice that inflicts prolonged suffering in anticipation of death and the ethical soundness of it is dubious at best. Live birth abortions are inhumane and these “comfort rooms” are macabre.

Stanek has been telling this story since 1993, I believe.

She was let go by said hospital in 2001, neither she nor the hospital have officially confirmed why, but Stanek alluded that it was leaked information that she had given to the media over an induced-labor abortion procedure that she did not understand completely (a couple decided that their child, diagnosed with a severe version of Down Syndrome, noted the quality of life for the child would be horrendous and opted for abortion, Stanek saw the child just sitting claiming she was unaware of such a procedure). Even though she was fired, the upshot for here was that parents could no longer ask for an induced-labor abortion if the child did not have a fatal disease or defect that would not let it live long after birth.

So, now, those comfort rooms are for those few infants who survive the abortion procedure to die peacefully and in comfort as they would have anyway had they been born. We are talking about, literally, a handful of children opposed to the thousands that are given birth and are able to live full lives.

Stanek's story is not new, has been reported off and on since the 1990's. Anyone with an internet connection and 120 seconds could have figured it out...but, hey, why check when you can just flail around in self-righteous outrage?

If I don't put the title of the article in the subject line I will get banned from the forum. My lord.
