Why don't these nuts ever get arrested?

Antifa stormed into government buildings with rifles all the time? You are going to have to provide a source for that.

Brandishing firearms at politicians is a pretty clear threat.

what the hell are you even talking about nothing you said had anything to do with what i said. so you are either being dishonest or lying
ol yea both.

Cool show me someone brandishing their firearm at someone so fare i have seen all guns not pointed at anyone.
that is not threatening.

Open carry is legal in MI read the law.

That is what the “demonstrators” did.

They stormed into government buildings with rifles and waved them around.

You not wanting to think it’s a threat doesn’t change that it is one.

Clearly Antifa and the Black Panthers should start following conservative lawmakers around....armed to the teeth.

After all, according to you that’s perfectly fine and not at all “threatening”.

no you making stuff up does not mean they did it.

You not wanting to think it’s a threat doesn’t change that it is one.

again you making stuff up doesn't mean anything i have yet to see any photo or video of them
waving guns around. again the police onsite have said the opposite so i will believe them over you.

as long as they are not swinging it and pointing it at people it isn't threatening.

if you start swinging it around or pointing it at me then that changes things.

So now you are denying the “protesters” were armed?

Again, there plenty of pictures out there of them brandishing their weapons.

The Black Panthers weren’t “pointing guns at people” either....yet conservatives still scream about them showing up outside polling places.

Funny how one is okay and the other isn’t in Trump cult world.

These clowns don't represent Michigan. They're a minority luckily, however they could infect a lot of people. They're simply an angry mob carrying military-grade weapons because they're mad at having to stay at home.
You dont hear me arguing with you about their decision to protest, do you?

LOL... Ignoring reality can often result in legal troubles... I agree with Ronald Reagan...

Again...you would have to point to somewhere...anywhere...were I have suggested people should ignore what is legal 'reality'. What I HAVE said is if the citizens of those states are stupid enough to let their legislature force unconstitutional law on them without challenging them legally...**** them...thats their fault? No...I am merely pointing out YOUR blatant hypocrisy on the topic.

So now you are denying the “protesters” were armed?

Why are you lying is the question? are you not capable of honestly reading what people say?

The Black Panthers weren’t “pointing guns at people” either....yet conservatives still scream about them showing up outside polling places.

Because there are laws regarding polling places and distances.
There are no laws being broken here because MI is a open carry state.
you are talking apples and oranges.

Funny how one is okay and the other isn’t in Trump cult world.

Funny how one thing has nothing to do with the other.

So you shouldn’t have any problems with Antifa and the Black Panthers doing the exact same thing to conservative politicians...but we all know you’d **** yourself and scream for Dear Leader Trump to stop them.

I stated they stormed into the government building...which they did.

You shrieked about “making stuff up”.

There’s nothing that terrifies supposed proponents of the Second Amendment more than minorities having guns.

Gee what a surprise, you mourn the destruction of Nazi Germany and Mussolini’s Italy. Sooo shocking

I am not sure what this remark has to do with the quoted post. Perhaps you might consider explaining? Preferably in a logical manner.

One starts a war to protect slavery when one has gotten it into their heads that it will be banned.....regardless of the facts.

And who might have put that idea into their heads?

And who might have put that idea into their heads?

Their own paranoia. Lincoln hadn’t taken a single step against slavery when they started shooting at federal troops.

Your attempt to excuse and defend the actions of Mussolini’s death squads while babbling about the Allies wanted to “take over the world”...just for starters.

This is nuts and should be responded to.

Multiple armed gunmen storm Michigan’s State House, State police are protecting
@GovWhitmer and blocking the gunmen from gaining access to the house floor.

Video at link.

Because they aren't breaking the law.

That action might be their undoing.

Get a photograph of their faces and then deny them care when they get sick because they willfully chose not to obey the social distancing and quarantine. They should all be jailed so they can infect each other.

They were slapped by a judge.

This is a prime example of why we can't trust Leftists with our liberties. They only believe in freedom and liberties when it suits their agenda.

This post literally advocates using doctors as judge, jury and executioner.

They should have been forced to surrender their weapons as they entered the building and they would not have been returned. I'm tired of their childish antics.

So, you want to just flush The Constitution down the toilet? **** it, right?

What is the lawful intent of trying to intimidate government official with a firearm in the statehouse? They are a buinch of spoiled Karens.

The same as any other protest. All protests are designed to intimidate.

Their own paranoia. Lincoln hadn’t taken a single step against slavery when they started shooting at federal troops.

Well no, he just rode atop a wave of abolitionist mania that had resulted in an attempted invasion a few years earlier, made it the central issue of his campaign, and sent a fleet of warships toward Charleston. Obviously the Southerners were completely paranoid.

Your attempt to excuse and defend the actions of Mussolini’s death squads while babbling about the Allies wanted to “take over the world”...just for starters.

You'll need to enlighten me regarding Mussolini's "death squads". As for the United Nations . . . the name sort of gives it away.

It would have been on security. right to open carry is legal in MI how many times do you have to be told this.
If a security shoots you for no reason that is called murder he would be arrested and charged i would hope so.

No carrying guns like they did is not threatening. If they threatened someone i would be all for them being arrested as they should be.

I am speculating on how these guys approached the capitol, so if I have details wrong, forgive my hypothetical: I am the security guard or cop. My job is to protect the capital and those in it. If I see a group of armed men advancing up the stairs and they don't stop at my orders and I draw my weapon, they point guns at me, I am at fault if the shooting starts? Somehow I don't think the guard or cop gets comvicted. Blue lives matter.

making stuff up doesn't make you correct.
it still makes you wrong.

none of that happened.

News reports I saw said they tried to push their way into the legislature, a GOP legislature elected by the people who approved the rules, tho there seems to be a debate now over whether or how long the rules should be extended. They arguably put in danger of any cops or security guards who had to restrain them. One funny touch, however. The police dutifully took the temperature of those entering.

They walked into the building i saw the video feed there was no pushing going on.
yes there was a lot of people trying to get in but there was no rushing or trampling or anything else.

again facts don't care about your feelings.

He sent a resupply flotilla towards a fort which was US government property....which he had every right to do so.

Funny how the “states’ rights” guys didn’t care about “states rights” when they pushed through the Fugitive Slave Act....oh, and sent slavers from Missouri to invade Kansas.

So yes, the Confederates were completely paranoid.

Of course. No reasonable person would be worried about six armed vessels sitting off their coastline, especially not when other warships were known to have put to sea with unknown destinations and the means for landing troops.

So yes, the Confederates were completely paranoid.

Of course. Why else would anyone oppose the forces of Reason, Progress, and the Enlightenment? The Confederates were simply delusional. Whereas the abolitionists' claims of a Southern conspiracy to spread slavery across the whole country, were obviously well-founded. And it's not like the Confederates' fears were vindicated by subsequent history, or anything.

Is this what passes for "death squads" these days? Robespierre killed more people in his sleep (in the service of Reason, Progress, and the Enlightenment, of course).

Again, the US government had every right to move troops to a US government fort if it so chose. I get that slavery and white supremacy are near and dear to your heart, but you don’t have any sort of case.

The South had controlled the federal government for the past thirty years before Lincoln took power. The south— not “abolitionists”— had violated every agreement ever made on the subject, constantly pushing to spread the “peculiar institution” further and further across the country. Southern interests, such as expanding slavery westwards and trying to gain Cuba for slavery, were promoted; northern and western ones such as a transcontinental railroad were totally ignored. A legislator was literally physically attacked for daring to criticize slavery on the senate floor...and the slavers hailed the attacker as a hero.

So yes, there absolutely was a “slave power” conspiracy.....and the Confederates were particularly delusional. Especially considering how lightly they got off after the war, despite another century of terrorism and tyranny launched by your slaver heroes.

Mussolini killed hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians in his campaigns of aggression and hundreds of thousands of Italians died as a result of his wars of aggression. Robespierre didn’t kill anywhere near as many, so your silly comparison is rather laughably.

What percentage of the citizenry would you say they represent?

The only reminder this type of actions give is how much we tolerate these yahoos... They should not assume that tolerance will last...

see this is the problem. some people are so scared of a virus that kills less than 1% of the time, that they are ok giving up their freedoms.

WHEN DID IT START TO MATTER what percentage of the citizenry someone represents before they can exercise their CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS??

IDIOT leftists are going to give this country away to the authoritarians before long.

most of you.. all the ones who are not in places of control or wealth... WILL be unhappy about that, you just do not realize it yet.

Nah... The problem is those who think their "constitutional rights" somehow allow them to endanger the community. The very formation of our country is based on joining together to protect the community. Many delude themselves of how far their "rights" go when the community is facing a threat. In our 200+ years of history here in the US there are countless examples of times when the community/state/federal governments temporarily restricted the rights of the citizenry. Those who forcefully objected were typically tolerated up to a point and then, in many cases, brutally crushed.

You would say to cause fear and intimidation. Let me ask you...do armed cops in the capital building cause you fear? Do they intimidate you?

Why would they Vance. It's a rather hilarious angle that you would take trying to conflate the intent of these folks as being the same intent as police officers. Even you don't believe tht
