Why aren't 2020 Democrat candidates recusing themselves from the Senate trial?

No, he asked them to look into 2016 shenanigans in Ukraine having to do with the election. Biden was an afterthought. Trump had every right, in fact a responsibility, to seek Ukraine's assistance in a possible criminal matter. There is simply no case here.

Its not idiotic and he didnt say remove 'everyone with a conflict of interest.' 98 senators are predisposed to vote with their tribe, but Warren and Sanders have a unique conflict of interest. They stand to benefit directly from Trumps removal since he would be the one they would face should they win the nomination.

The really funny part is that Biden is so obviously corrupt, you'd think the Dems themselves would want him investigated. But, nope, their crimes are A-OK.

Derschowitz and Turley don't reject the Dems narrative because they are Trump supporters. They are Democrats!
But in their shrinking-tent party, if they dare not nod along like lemmings, they are viewed as the enemy.

Planning on impeachment in the event that a certain candidate wins (remember the "insurance policy"?) is the definition of sedition and that's what the Dems have engaged in along with their helpers in the FBI and elsewhere.

I dont think they should recuse themselves because they are part of the senate and according to the Constitution, the senate tries the impeachment. But there is no question that those two are conflicted beyond belief

Wait a second-- a claim against Trump is that he abused his power because he wanted to investigate Mr. Biden for personal political reasons.

Wouldn't those Senators have personal political reasons to see Trump removed from office?
Can't Senators abuse their office as well?

Yes, those two are not equal with the rest of the Democrats in the Senate. They have exactly the same position of abuse of power that they claim about Trump.
Arguably, a guilty vote from them can be seen as a nefarious ploy to remove the competition and win the Presidency.
