Why aren't 2020 Democrat candidates recusing themselves from the Senate trial?

The transcript is clear there was no pressure or quid pro quo. Aid isn't even mentioned. Zelensky claimed there was no pressure. Every witness when asked if they had any firsthand knowledge of crimes perpetrated by Trump answered no. So, anything they offered was solely opinion (ie. hearsay)

Do yourself a favor and read the constitution. Vague generalities are common within it, and including when it talks about impeachment. I really wonder what is wrong with out educational system these days that people know so little of our founding document.

In the memorandum of the phone call, Trump very much did ask a leader of a foreign country to help him with digging up dirt on a political opponent. That is not opinion. That is very much what the memorandum says.

If this was Trump's 2nd term, it wouldn't be an issue. But 4 2020 Dem candidates sit poised to unseat him by either weakening him and winning, or removing him from the competition all together. No Catholic saint withstand the temptation! So please, stop blowing smoke at us about Democrats being impartial because they "swore".

Is Biden a political rival of Trump? Yes or no? Did he ask for help investigating Biden? Yes or no?
