Why are in general, female comedians less funny than men?

I don't even know if she's a decent person but she is still hot. I had a dream where I was sipping from a water fountain and she came up from behind me. I was ashamed because I'm so average and she's so pretty that I tried to hide by sipping some water. Then she hugged me from behind, so I turned and kissed her softly on the lips. The best damn dream I ever had. I'll take a sweet romantic kiss over a night of knocking boots.

Perhaps a sexist answer but I think women, generally, care more about what other people think of them.

I think this explains why the fashion and make up industries cater overwhelmingly for women.



In my experience at work, women care more about making a mistake...they are more studious. They are less willing to take risks.


The moment a comic starts worrying about how well a joke will be received, is the moment he/she will fail to make anyone laugh.


The funniest humor is offensive humor. It just is...humor at someone's expense is just funny.

However I tried watching an episode of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and it was very bad, the complete opposite of funny. I get a similar reaction when watching other female comedians like Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman.

Now, this thread may get some slack. I am not saying ALL female comedians are unfunny, but IMO the majority of them are. IMO female comedians can only be really good in a narrow range of categories. When I see a female being really nasty, that is just a turn off. It just doesn't work.

First off, it's really difficult being funny when you're barefoot, suckling 2 kids simultaneously, making hundreds of sammiches and fending off sexual predators all at the same time. Second, it's almost impossible to reach the incredibly high echelon of male comedy genius that calls itself Carrot Top. Comedy gold orange.
