Why are in general, female comedians less funny than men?

The OP is nonsense; women AbsaByGodLutely ARE every bit as funny as men.<-period I was going to use Kathleen Madigan as an example but someone bet me to it; she is EVERY bit as funny as any man, any time, any day.

Now, IF, you would have just made your real point, "I'm a big enough conservative to find some lefttard humor funny, take Stephen Colbert for instance, but Samantha Bee? Well she's just stupid".

OK, then we could have had an honest discussion.

FYI, IMHO, depending on the night they can both be equally funny (maybe not the same night) or tedious.

Madaline Kahn was probably one of the funniest people ever IMO.

Look at it this way.

Is it sexist to say that the majority of women cannot become Navy Seals? Not really given there are zero female Navy Seals. They have the same opportunity as men and must pass the basic mental and physical requirements.... yet they cannot.

There are physical and mental limitations that prevent women from becoming Navy Seals.

What mental limitations do you refer to?

The majority of women are not wired to be navy seals. I am the wrong person to go in detail about it but I am sure an actual navy seal will tell why the majority of women cannot become navy seals.

The fact that you can't say anything specific says all it needs to say, thanks.

Explain why then you don't have 1 female navy seal that has even passed the training.

I'm not going to explain your belief for you. You think women have unspecified mental limitations and are unwilling to even give vague descriptions about those limitations.

I suspect I know why that is.

Why is it so hard to believe? We know women have physical limitations. Do you deny this? When I refer to mental limitations, it has nothing to do with intelligence, but wiring.

Supposed wiring "limitations" you still are too afraid to describe even a little bit, yeah. Yawn.

Even though I am not a big fan of Stephen Colbert, he actually is funny. I can actually watch his show.

However I tried watching an episode of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and it was very bad, the complete opposite of funny. I get a similar reaction when watching other female comedians like Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman.

Now, this thread may get some slack. I am not saying ALL female comedians are unfunny, but IMO the majority of them are. IMO female comedians can only be really good in a narrow range of categories. When I see a female being really nasty, that is just a turn off. It just doesn't work.

What are your thoughts?

You admit to havng a gender bias, by greatly narrowing the range of funny material "categories" available to female comics off the bat, and then unilaterally delcalre them less funny.

One might surmise that you simply prefer some "nasty" material being part of the comedy act (routine?) and thus only male comics could possibly be deemed consistently funny even if presenting exactly the same mix of material.

Given your gender bias (and the possibility of it being widespread), that could limit the potential of any female comic to make the top 10 or 100.
