Why Americans don't do anything about mass shootings[W:465]

In the U.S., gun violence is epidemic in poor urban areas, often due to gang violence. In reality, mass shootings in our country account for a very small number of deaths.

But let's keep scapegoating responsible, law abiding gun owners who have jumped through all the hoops to own their guns legally...Don't tell me this is not about a massive gun grab by the controlling anti-gun brigade.

Those parkland parents are so overly emotional

Parkland had so many red flags that not stopping it was inexcusable. The guy posted online that he was going to be a professional school shooter for crap sake. A lot of people should have lost their jobs over that shooting, the local police chief first of all. Yet, all we hear is the usual gun blather. We've always had lots of guns. We haven't always had lots of mass shootings. Keep the blinders on looking at guns and we will solve nothing. That doesn't mean we shoulsn't tighten things up but most of the laws needed are already on the books. Lax enforcement is a big problem. We also need a security assessment of every school and a plan to make them far less penetrable.

Your plan is not working

I own firearms, going to purchase some that you would deny me because they scare you. I have never threatened or harmed anyone, nor have I ever been irresponsible with my firearms. Why should my freedoms be limited?

Please read my posts later on in this thread. I realized that people were incorrectly interpreting what I wrote in that one.

I own firearms, and nothing you could buy would concern me in the least. Guns aren't the problem.

You can own guns and have gun control

I do, a modified weaver stance, two hands. That's Gun Control. I also have a shotgun, am working on an AR-15, got a bead on one, seller is willing to toss in some extra high capacity mags.

OKAY I so misunderstood your post, my apologies.

Your plan is not working

Nor is yours.
Your repetitious talking points over and over again isn't exactly a "plan."

The FBI, law enforcement missed all the red flags. The plan is to hold those responsible who missed the boat regarding the Parkland shooting.

Uh....my plan works all over the developed world
