As far as I know, the Star investigation wasn't initiated and pushed by members of the Clinton administration. But we do know that the Trump investigation WAS initiated and pushed by members of the Obama administration. Therefore, you attempts to compare the Trump investigation and the Star investigation is akin to comparing apples to oranges.

There will always be conflict between Parties. But when one Party uses their executive branch powers...and we are talking about the ILLEGAL use of those powers...to target someone, that goes beyond conflict and into outright political corruption.
