What items will you stock up on?

Yes, because they'd come to your home and have everything on them

YOU missed the point. YOU would NOT understand being that you live just outside Seattle. YOU would need to travel to far East of Seattle and talk to people to understand my point.... you know, closer to Idaho.

Lentils and quinoa. Neither need to be soaked first and it (lentils) is ok as dog food for the pups if needed. Not for cats, it's good protein but not enough for cats (well, I'm sure they'd do fine if you could get them to eat it and they supplemented with the usual vermin).

LOL!

In a SHTF situation the doggies and kitty cats ARE THE FOOD!

It's so nice how Americans have so many pets in their yards. At some point all of those pets are only "game". Lursa I don't advise you bring you puppies out on a lifeboat.

Nom, nom, nom!

Zombieland and Zombieland II: Double-Tap double-pack.
Also, maybe Night Of The Living Deb.

Wrong. And I've made sure I have plenty of ammo. (I listed it). And I ride and show horses over there all the time...in a shooting sport, lol...and am very close to folks over there.

Funny, I'm not sure I've ever seen you write something accurate.

I've been a member of 2 prepper sites for years. And why would I eat my dog when I have plenty of food for him? Why do you think I know lentils are enough protein for dogs?

again, not a single accurate thing posted by you that I can think of.

Now horsemeat is something I have had... not too bad. I don't own any (money PITS) but I do know how to ride. In a SHTF situation a horse is great if you need to bug out for a limited distance in terrain where a motor vehicle is impractical... and of course then if you have to...you can eat them later --Indian style.

I didn't list my ammo. Some is for "two legged critters" but most if for game... especially small game. One could live pretty well on rabbits, voles, and squirrel meat... a .22 is great for that.

I don't consider myself a "prepper". Lots of wack-a-do stuff with some of those folks. Storing up just enough to shelter in place for a limited time makes sense, while you determine the best route to escape. After that having more than you can bug out with is kind of fruitless... especially for people living in larger urban areas where all normal society will cease to exist inside of 3 weeks and then all you become is a last stand Alamo situation against the "zombies". The idea people will be able to stand like The Omega Man and fight forever is kind of silly. The ability to MOVE out, sustain yourself from the land, and know where to best hold up AND HOW-- is the true test of being prepared. Think Viet Cong soldier living off the land and moving a thousand miles as needed is what we are talking about. Preppers as a group are kind of goofy. But the bushcraft parts of those sites have lots of good information and skillsets for people to educate themselves on. Mormons are "preppers". Bushmen are survivors.

Horses LOL. Horses like armies are high maintenance animals, and don't even get me started on 'show horses" ROTFLMAO!. Think of getting yourself a few mules instead. Plus they taste good too.

You won't have to eat him, I will... thank you very much! LOL

While you are cooking up lentils for Fido I'll be field dressing your horse and making jerky out of it for the coming winter.

I always have plenty of what I need. No need to stock up. I do however have far more liquor than I need, at around 80+ bottle. If my area was quarantined, I might start running low in that...

I like having several types of bourbon, scotch, etc.
