What items will you stock up on?

As for me and my house, we'll share.

What if people show up to your house that don't want to share? What if they just take? Then what?

Thy must need it more than we do. They'll have to live with what they do, as I can live with not harming anyone.

And you family will starve to death. See my point?

smirnoff
antacids
power ade zero
caffeine free diet coke
sprite zero for my wife
tp
paper towels
detergent
lysol

though i don't see a quarantine as likely, this is stoking my stock up gene.

Without #4,#5 and #6, you wouldn't need #3. I only say that from experience.

Down to a bottle and a half of Glenlivet, so may need to stock up on that.

If your area gets quarantined, what items will you stock up on?

Shoppers reported stocking up on medications, cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, face masks, surgical gloves, and pantry staples. Social media was filled with photos of shelves emptied of flats of bottled water.

Pantry items and toilet paper I get but not bottled water. Also, I have some (limited) antibiotics on hand for a secondary bacterial infection in the lungs.

ANimal traps and snares.

unfortunately, i have needed reflux medicine since before it was prevalent. losing weight helped a lot, and so did cutting caffeine almost down to nothing. i'd find it difficult to go without it.

Not even close to enough. Better stock up.

I think what you stock up on may depend on how old you are and do you have anyone living in your house that has health problems that the Covid-19 could lead to death.

Actually, do they give residents notice?

Oh well. We have lots of food. Plenty of bean and vegetable pastas that have a lot of fiber and protein in addition to carbs. Multi-vitamins. Running water. Wife keeps bottled water. I should probably get around to picking up another giant bag of dry beans though.

Lentils and quinoa. Neither need to be soaked first and it (lentils) is ok as dog food for the pups if needed. Not for cats, it's good protein but not enough for cats (well, I'm sure they'd do fine if you could get them to eat it and they supplemented with the usual vermin).

Oh, yeah, we've got quinoa. More carby things like Farrow. Lentils I need to start playing around with.

Dr. Pepper, since with the coming political plans to go to socialism there will not be doctors to treat the masses.

Lentils can be very"meat-like" for something like vegetarian chili or really satisfying, filling soups.

My wife makes great lentil soup. Usually makes enough for several days.

Ammo. Lots and lots of ammo.

After that everything else can be "acquired" as needed.

Love it. Moroccan varieties and curried. Really filling and substantial and you can add any and all the vegetables you want, including potatoes and sweet potatoes.

You mean stealing from others? Is that your plan?

Don't worry, I wouldn't need to steal from others. I would be able to eat off of the bounty provided to me by the people trying to steal from me.

Nice list. I would add drinking water filtration devices too. I keep plenty on hand---actually more than I need. Because in a SHTF situation it is good to have some non perishable necessary items you can use to barter with when money will be worthless.

Yes, because they'd come to your home and have everything on them
