Yes, FDR became black Americans favored POTUS, due to many of his actions. FDR could not go far enough, and had to compromise with racist southern Democrats to get many of the programs passed.

The New Deal did help everybody, but proportionally, it helped white people more. Institutional white privilege.

We are still trying to correct that. It would help tremendously if more people acknowledged it's existence.

Most Democrats deny what you just admitted on this forum.

As to it helping whites, what you mean is it helped those that were higher earners. So many low earning whites got what blacks also got.

This bit we are trying to correct is very amusing given it causes ten times more problems for us all.

White males made most all the rules.

Civil rights of the 1960s were an attempt to address some of the systemic issues. It helped but it didn't end them.

They do not wake up thinking that but once they go to work, many look down on Black workers as not being as effective or as good as White ones. It is not a thinking process but an automatic one from believing that White is the primary color in the Universe.

Those who use their minds and look rather than feel, soon teach themselves that is not the case but those that don't think (just feel), it happens more often than not. Part of it is normal as most people think the world revolves around them anyhow no matter what color they are but when you look at the history of the world, Whites have been in control of the world a lot more than Blacks and that filters into people's hearts from childhood.

We have AA to address any that would exist. Just because laws have been updated, doesn't mean the minds of all humans have been updated.

It is systemic. It's been ingrained since the founding days. It takes generations and generations to remove.

I know you don't believe it. That's ok. There are all types of people.

You make it sound like white people are immune to racism. As it happens I think the political left always plays the racist card when the real inequality is caused by culture and the luck (good or bad) of being born in a particular time and space.99% of the population are not racist unless you believe ecofarm in which case anyone not black is racist.
