What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?***[W:151]

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

Who is in charge of Gaza? Not Israel.

Stop hiding from the direct question I set you.

Your fear of having to posit some sort of answer is palpable and tbh embarrassing to watch

Gaza... What entity fought for and gained control over Fatah? Who is in charge?

Why are you running from the question?

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

Because if you don't you have a false picture of the cycle of violence.

You evidently would want to keep it that way for obvious reasons

No, terrorism is just terrorism, your requirement for us to see it as a response, something you're very consistent with, isn't helpful in any sort of way. The solution to bullying is never to try and understand the bully. Someone murdering random civilians isn't rational in any way.

I have every intention of answering your questions but first you have to pluck up the courage to answer the one I set you before you started asking your own. It's you that has ran ever since I asked it. Easily verifiable to any that have bothered reading this thread ( or most other threads you are involved in tbh )

Are the Gazans enjoying autonomous rule in Gaza ?

How hard can it be that you choose to run a mile rather than just answer it ?

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

Catalonia hasn't broken away from Spain properly yet and the support for it is highly controversial with many Catalans wishing to remain part of Spain.

As for the rest , yes if they choose to.

I would have supported the First Nation Americans right to resist had I been around then

I would support Israelis right to resist if they ever got steam rolled and occupied by an Arab neighbour state

For reasons best known to yourself , though I have a feeling I know where this comes from , you think that the Palestinians shouldn't have that right

If that was actually all the Palestinians wanted and they didn’t continually reject offers of independence, you might have an argument. But they don’t, so you don’t.

Gaza is a territory that is run by the terrorist organization _________?

Your flaccid attempts at insults are ignored.

I didn't say it was helpful for the likes of you. In fact it's the polar opposite hence your comments.

You want people to carry on with a skewed view precisely so you can keep on deceiving them that the only responses come from Israel/Israelis

The solution to bullying is never to try and understand the bully.

Correct , the best course of action is to resist the bullying

Someone murdering random civilians isn't rational in any way.

Nobody claimed it was. you do wander aimlessly at times imo

You know they don't have autonomy in Gaza but rather than just admit it we see all of these childish dodging/fudging tactics

Lack of courage to answer a simple question , duly noted for the umpteenth time

The offers do not constitute " independence " or genuine autonomy and that's why they are rejected. It's also why you don't have an argument

Don't read things into what I post. It is dishonest.

There seems to be confusion.

Israel left Gaza.

They no longer occupy Gaza.

Who took over?

That is the reality of the situation. Israel's initiatives are defensive, and they exist because of offensive initiatives of the other side.

Indeed which is why Palestinian bullying is resisted (what you oppose) and why Palestinian attacks on random civilians (what you don't oppose) isn't resistance to anything.

Nobody claimed it was. you do wander aimlessly at times imo

Sure, no one.

They did, and they were rejected because the Palestinians would have had to abandon their core objective of “liberating historic Palestine” by hook or by crook. But nice try.

Except it's not the reality of the situation though, it's an inversion of the situation. It's Israeli propaganda designed to deceive people that are less aware of the situation.

They are resisting your offensive occupation and trying to defend themselves from it

You are trying to portray to everyone that their defence as an offence. You are the occupiers , the violators of rights , the bully with the military might to bully and they are the occupied , the violated and the bullied

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

They did,

No they didn't

Instead of watching that link I put up that went some way to describing why the offers were rubbish you decided to be wholly predictable and question the source

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

Don't read things into what I post. It is dishonest.

You don't post anything other than a whole host of questions you demand be answered whilst you run a mile if anyone asks you to answer one of their own. It's totally pathetic

There seems to be confusion.

There's no confusion , you run like the wind from questions you struggle to answer. That's it , you do it all the time to such an extent I actually feel embarrassed for you

If there is no confusion than you should be able to answer a question as to who is in charge in Gaza.

There's obviously something wrong with you and I am beginning to feel a bit bad about highlighting it tbh

Pity...

You can't or won't answer a simple question that ANYONE with even the most rudimentary knowledge of Gaza could answer.

You were saying something about intestinal fortitude?

Re: What is it about Israeli-Palestine Discussions?

How quickly you forget your own posts. Your claim was that Israel clamped down before rocket fire in 1989-90. You forgot that the suicide attack on the bus occurred just before Israel clamped down. It would be nice if the Intifada only included "widespread protests, civil disobedience, strikes, and boycotts," but it included more, didn't it? It included much more and that demanded a response from Israel. The gazans seemed incapable of controlling themselves, so they had to be controlled by outside forces (Israel).

I haven't forgotten my own posts. My previous post/comment was regarding the notion that the blockade was a result of rocket fire from Gaza. I pointed out, correctly, that the strangle hold and blockade of Gaza predated it and predates Hamas\ election victory. Are either factually incorrect ?

I also never forgot about the bus attack . Why would it be relevant to the discussion on whether the blockade of Gaza was due to rocket fire from Gaza ? Now that it has been introduced it is fine to discuss it. You do follow that this is how discussions develop, right ?

What don't you understand about hundreds of Palestinians being shot dead by the IDF whilst taking part in those protests and mass acts of civil disobedience and there being nearly two years before the first suicide attack occurring ?

In the first 13 months of the intifada, before the first suicide attack against Israelis , 332 Palestinians had been killed by the IDF. In the first two years of the intifada some 23,000-29,000 Palestinian kids were treated for being beaten up by the IDF .

You just don't care about any of this and wish to start your shock and horror 18 months in when some Palestinians , so enraged by the slaughtering of their own people , decided to engage in a terrorist suicide attack. Read , their response to an out of control IDF shooting protesters en masse and beating up Palestinian kids in the thousands

That you don't care about this enough to have done your own research and found out what happened prior to the bus attack shows me , as if it needed to be shown considering the content of your own posts here at almost every turn , that you have a problem with race , a big problem with it. It's truly sickening to read through it

That was never reasoned in and will never be reasoned out , so for now I am not wasting any more time trying to do the impossible

Couldn’t find anything in Pravda?

Lol. Civil disobedience.

Seems like all we have on your end is a purposeful effort to use words that don’t apply to a situation as if they did and then try to draw conclusions based on those linguistic choices.

Burning tires, burning kites, shootings and working to infiltrate murder squads isn’t “civil disobedience”. It also isn’t “protests” or more rich “peaceful protests”.

You lose the second you try to rely on propaganda language with those who know better.

There's obviously something wrong with you.

The truth is that......

if you don't control your airspace and someone else does,

if you don't control your coastal waters and someone else does

if you don't control your imports and exports and someone else does

if you don't control immigration and emigration and someone else does

if you don't control your own population registry and someone else does

it becomes pretty obvious you ain't enjoying autonomy

Your endorsement of it isn't really required , though your fear of replying to it was quite a funny thing to behold

Who took over Gaza?

You can't even answer this simple question.

Pity you didn't " know better " than to respond with comments on the March of Return to a post regarding the first intifada
