Being gay is natural to +/-5% of the population. It is also natural among other species.

My wife works at a job were lots of men and women from the LGBTQ community work.

We sometimes go out with them after work to bars they frequent.

Other people will ask us if we know that those are "gay bars" and we say sure.

We also say we like to dance, like to drink every once in awhile and enjoy the company.

We don't see LGBTQ people we see friends, it is not a gay bar but a bar we go to.

In my 20s, still living back east, we occasionally went to gay bars with our gay friends...it didnt seem fair to make them always go to the straight bars with us. Still had fun, still had people buying us drinks...just different people! Since I was never one to pick up guys in bars, it didnt really make much difference.

The gay friends were a couple of guys, and one of their best friends, a lesbian. So they were mostly male gay bars I guess but I dont remember any being exclusively male. We just went and drank and laughed alot.
