What does the bible say about gay rights?

No, they at best pay lip service to it. Or bring it up in debate without any real understanding of context.

Wrong. Here in the south they quote from the old testament at every service. You dont get to define what they believe

Old teastament which christian theology states is superseded by the new testament. Only the jews are bound by those words not any christian.
Christian theology does not permit homosexuality. You will not find gay activity condoned in the New Testament.

Christian theology is simply nothing more than an attempt to justify the neurotic ramblings of insecure men.
Homosexuality in the New Testament - Wikipedia
Jesus discusses marriage only in a heterosexual context when he cites the Book of Genesis during a discussion of marriage

The references to homosexuality itself in the New Testament hinge on the interpretation of three specific Greek words: arsenokoitēs (ἀρσενοκοίτης), malakos (μαλακός), and porneia (πορνεία) and its cognates.[1][2] While it is not disputed that the three Greek words apply to sexual relations between men (and possibly between women), academics interpret the relevant passages as a prohibition against pederasty or prostitution rather than homosexuality per se, while other scholars have presented counter arguments.[3][4][5] The historical context of the passages has also been a subject of debate.

Not at all. I have no need to know the so called true word. All i need do is point out the stupidity of thinking about theists claims to true words.

That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved. (Romans 1:26-27)

Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

Jesus was cool with slavery too

Yup

7 “And if a man sells his daughter to be a female slave, she shall not go out as the male slaves do. 8 If she does not please her master, who has betrothed her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. ... 9 And if he has betrothed her to his son, he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.

Exodus 21:7

44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.
Lev. 25:44

Funny how Christians follow the one on homosexuality, but don't pay attention to the ones that are considered wrong in today's world.
