Steve Miller Band - Swing Town (1977)

The thing I always appreciated about the Steve Miller Band is that they were based in San Francisco, but you'd never know it from their sound. They could pass for a Dirty South band. They understood music as a language, a medium of communication. Very under-appreciated band, IMO.

Lynrd Skynrd - Gimme Three Steps (1973)

This song has personal meaning. Been in this situation twice. Making out with a girl I thought was single/divorced and come to find out, she ain't, and one time, found out through a mutual friend, her estranged husband was looking for me. Talk about a holy shit moment.
