Website Labeled ‘Fake News’ Threatens To Sue WaPo For Defamation

God, look at this crap. Somebody is just running his own pizza shop, some dickheads on a 4chan weave an entire narrative with his restaurant as the center of a pedophilia ring, and now the poor guy has to deal with morons. Where do these wackos come from? One of them came from Philadelphia. Why are crazy people so motivated?

I thought the point of determining if a news site is fake.... is that the "news" reported....is fake.

As NC points out, the WP has not cited (nor have you) any reporting that is "fake".

No but it helps. I wouldn't consider Rushlimbaugh.com or Algore.com to be a news site. This site is no different from those sites. It's a right wing version of Salon.com at best. Just because there are opinions on a site that you agree with doesn't make it a reputable news site.

I'm STILL waiting for ANY example from Naked Capitalism that shows them to be a "fake" news site. Lemme know when you have the goods....and maybe then you can shoot it over to WaPo since at this point....they could use the help.

My point being was that algore.com and rushlimbaugh.com should be added to the list! Naked capitalism is often listed as an alternative financial blog, not a news source and with her railing against the Washington Post like she is doing along with Donald Trump's rhetoric about the working man, the blog sounds more right wing today than ever before!

That's right, you have allowed the WaPo to make the determination and you have not figured it out for yourself. I know the WaPo is completely wrong about Naked Capitalism being a "fake" news site. Susan Webber, aka Yves Smith, has been one of the go-to sources for info on MERS problems associated with home ownership before during and after the housing crisis. You know nothing.

It is an economics news aggregator and an economic opinion site, they pull in all sorts of professors and specialists from the macro world....and do a damn fine job. They present all sorts of "news" on the economic front, you have no idea what they do.
