Was Joe Kennedy right about Trump's policies?

I'm not sure what was up with the corners of his lips.

I like him but I would really much rather see Elizabeth Warren as president. She was his professor in college. I like economists as presidents. You have to understand economics as president. Trump only understand New York real eastate. He's just goingg to fuel a bubble wit these corporate tax cuts. Who knows when the economy will explode?
I think it was just a tv makeup error. You know like trumps beady white eyes from the little plastic caps he wears for his spray on tan.

The funny thing about your response is that it's in business where you can get win-win deals. Business people often make deals with each other where both businesses make money, or where both the business and consumer benefit from a transaction. I mean, that's literally what drives the economy. If anybody can understand a win-win deal, it's a business person.

Yes that is how businesses should be run, but that's how trump does it.

This is why he has bankrupted seven times and four of those were casinos. Who can bankrupt a casino?

This is why he can't get a loan in the US.

Unfortunately, that's not the view that Trump promotes. Trump clearly believes he can bully the rest of the world. Why would he claim he would make Mexico pay for the wall? Why not try a win-win strategy and work with Mexico?

Why insult the entire African continent when you have American troops stationed there fighting the war on terror? Why not just apologize?

How many times do we have to go over this? You don't even know what was said or in what context. What the NYT said was that it was about Haiti, some African countries, and El Salvador. Last I checked, El Salvador and Haiti weren't in Africa. That's not to mention the man pushing this narrative has lied before about closed-session statements, where Obama's Administration even came out and said what Durbin claimed was never said. Trump denies this language, and so do Republicans. It makes sense for Trump not to apologize for something he didn't do. And who says that a wall is a win-lose? Last I checked, Mexico had a wall on their Southern border. It makes sense for the USA not to pay for the wall if we don't have to. I can't believe you are seriously asking this question.

This crap may have worked before the election, but it doesn't hold water now. People can see that Trump is a brilliant brander. He not only won the Republican primary, he won the general election, against all odds. He has won over many foreign leaders. Emmanuel Maccron of France comes to mind. Saudi Arabian and Israeli leaders, too. Trump is a successful businessman with talents. Attacking him on business isn't going to sway many people.

WTF does Joe, or any other Kennedy for that matter, know about the hard times of the working poor?

If they try to put him up in 2020, we will likely see Trump for another 4 years. I think the average American is sick of politicians named Clinton, Bush, and Kennedy.

I'm not too keen on Trump myself, But I would love to see a moderate Repub or Dem in 4 years.

Kennedy? Hell No!

I 100% agree.

This guy painted a picture of a dark dark place and economic inequality.

This guy comes from a family whose net worth is double that of Trump.

When you are claiming thunder and dark clouds but the weather outside is sunny, the Democrats just look foolish.

The party of bad ideas is dying.

"Who knows when he economy will explode?". Certainly not economists. Macro Economics, as a discipline and a profession, has failed abjectly along with their always wrong "forecasts". Just one short illustration of its worthlessness:

The day after President Trump was the elected Paul Krugman, great panjandrum of economics, Nobel prize winner no less, said "the stock market will crash and never recover".

If Democrats had paid even half the attention to the poor white working class than they did illegals

What special attention is needed for the poor white working class and not the poor black working class?

Dems way of keeping up class walfare, thats all.

Why do you people even bother? Are you put here just to make dems appear smarter and right wingers stupid? 90% of the wealth in this country is with the top 1%. Since the last recession 85% of new wealth has gone to the top 1%. All this boasting of a great economy and stocks is largely going directly into the 1% pockets. There already is class warfare, and the rich have won. And what Republicans just did? Give them even more money, doubling down on the same policies that have lead to the rich winning the class warfare.

He's part of the group with all the wealth, who has gold toilets, you think he gives a **** about any worker in this country who barely gets by on their garbage wages while the people at the top are swimming in money?

What is Trump's net worth? Please tell me you saw his tax returns. I'd like to see them, please.

People think leftists suffer from a mental disorder. It's no wonder why 1200+ leftists have been chased from office over the last few years.

The Left thinks that America should not exist.

And this is the level of intellect of right wingers LOL Thanks guys, for making all liberals look like geniuses in comparison and making right wingers look so bad

WTF does Joe, or any other Kennedy for that matter, know about the hard times of the working poor?

Nothing. The same thing that Donald Trump knows about the hard time of the working poor. That's why they're both to be discounted when they pretend they do.

The Left thinks that America should not exist.

And the Right thinks gays should be killed, blacks are awful, women are second class citizens whose genitals should be available to any man who wants to grab them, and Hispanics should be executed on sight.

Isn't hyperbole fun?

Sometimes....

that's how the left sees things. If the rich make money, they assume everyone else loses money. Its based on the idea that the government owns all the wealth and tax cuts for some means stealing from others. Its idiotic and is based on false assumptions but its the foundation of the class warfare envy of so many Democrats. And nothing is funnier than a guy who is where he is because of his name and his family's wealth (mainly accumulated due to political connections) complaining about how tough the poor have it and blaming the rich

Of course that's how the left see things, because those are the facts. As the rich have gotten richer in this country where 1% owns 90% of the wealth, the middle class has shrunk, and poverty rates are increasing, that shows you all you need to know. More people in this country at the brink of poverty, living paycheck to paycheck, while corporations are bringing in record profits and their stocks are sky high. Do some of you not realize how forking stupid your posts are?

oh come on, that is hackery at its worst. The left often hates America as it is and loves an America that is turned into the socialist paradise they have pined for for years. And some on the right only love an America that no longer exists

OK, now I know you are just another troll, hackery at its worst have you make multiple completely idiotic partisan hack posts? And the inability to post more than a line or two dumb response. And a one line deflection coming in 3...2....1.....

And this is the level of intellect of right wingers LOL Thanks guys, for making all liberals look like geniuses in comparison and making right wingers look so bad

I claim to be a lefty and I am pretty sure most conservatives around here agree with me so I doubt that they mind.

Trump wants to see results in numbers and charts. As long as he sees a soaring stock market that rarely benefits the poor or lower middle class then everything is good. Give a tax cut that significantly benefits the rich and maybe spike GDP a little but does very little for the poor and middle class is a job well done... All these blighted towns in the Middle America are seeing no change, its what burned Obama and the Democrats, although Repubs did a masterful job turning down almost every possible proposals or solution. Even with the stock market gains, guiding us out of the Great Recession, and bringing unemployment down to record numbers middle America wasn't seeing any significant improvement. So they rolled the dice with a populist, authoritarian one, but regardless....And we're seeing the same ole same ole, but worst....

Great leaders would never sacrifice the people to save the numbers, they would sooner sacrifice the numbers to save the people.

So what? Isn't it more noble for rich people to fight for people that don't, as opposed to Trump, who only works for his fellow rich people?

Why is this always the stupid deflection? Because you lack substance to your position. See, liberals and dems have this thing called empathy. We don't have to physically be poor, need help, need medicare, need medicaid, or need anything from the government in order to realize that there are people that do, and in this country, they should be taken care of.

THe more I see responses from people on the right, the more I realize how so many lack any empathy what so ever. And they are giant hypocrites. Once they need something, they immediately demand the government help them. THe perfect example are the rural folks and coal miners struggling. When talking about inner cities, they would claim those peoplea re just lazy, they should get a new job or better job, move to where there are jobs. Now that the struggles have hit them, they now want the government to bring jobs to them. NOt so easy to pick up and move trying to find work now is it? Not fun struggling to make ends meat now, is it? It has little to do with being lazy for most people. The complete lack of empathy and hypocrisy is astounding

This guy is still carrying the name!? I’m disgusted by how some Democrats in particular like Kennedy’s rebuttal has the same ideology that we had seen for eight years ago. I think it’s a joke that nobody is laughing along with the democrats besides the democrats voters. The problem I have with the speech is that he lays out the situation that’s going on today is true and false. I don’t think that the democrats especially Kennedy do not believe “Country before party”. The democrats believe in outsiders before the United States of Americans citizens! And it breaks my heart to see that because I’m a proud American and I love everything that we are
