His interests are no longer related to the NBA - he's simply cashing in while he pursues his own personal business interests in LA - as one wag stated, LeBron has Bogarted the Lakers' brand for his own personal benefit and the Lakers' have been had.

76'ers are imo too flawed to win a championship.

Ben Simmons has played two full years in the NBA and has yet to make 1 3-point shot. Rajon Rondo can't shoot a lick either and even he made 11 3-pointers his first two seasons.

IMO he is more interested in becoming a celebrity than a star. I think perhaps he doesn't even attempt to shoot because he is too embarrassed. As a point guard, he isn't doing his job then. If you are wide open from the 3-point line and refuse to shoot, that means he is not making the best basketball decision.

I am not sure if this problem can be fixed.

Given that and Joel Embiid is a walking injury timebomb I would consider trading both players. I would offer Embiid for Anthony Davis, re-sign Butler and Harris.... see what you can get for Simmons.

I guess we figured why Kevin Durant left OKC.

Westbrook is most certainly not a championship caliber PG. Bounced in the first round 3 years in a row against teams not named Golden State.

Oklahoma Thunder has disgraceful ownership. Crooked as they come. One of their owners committed suicide right before he was going to jail. The majority of the owner had brain surgery.

Although I do not wish ill will on him, the Thunder are the most undeserving franchise in the NBA.

As a diehard Lakers fan, I am dismayed at the current state of affairs. Jeanie Buss is the worst owner in the NBA, and maybe all of sports and yes that even includes Dan Gilbert.

She is a bimbo that posed nude for playboy and dated the coach of the Lakers, Phil Jackson. The only reason why she is in her position is because of her father. She has been running the Lakers like a family restaurant. It is a complete joke.

She needs to hire a credible person to run the team but apparently, that is no longer a priority... she is fine I guess handing the keys to Kobe Bryant's former agent?

She also considered trading LeBron James, when she doesn't really have ANY basketball expertise on the player personnel side...

Goodness. Such a powerful brand being run by idiots.

If you are talking solely for basketball reasons, you are incorrect as well.

LeBron staying in Cleveland doesn't make them better than the Warriors. From a basketball perspective, all that matter is winning championships.

Nobody cares about a finals streak. The only thing that counts is winning the chip.

New York didn't throw a parade for the Bills for making the SB 4 straight times.

New England didn't throw a parade in 2007 when the Patriots won 18 straight games.

Actually, the Lakers were the 4th seed in the playoffs before LeBron got hurt.

Lue is not that bad of a coach. He has potential.

While that's true, they weren't on pace to end up with the 4th seed. They were only 20-14. Extrapolate that out for the whole season and its only 48 wins, good for tying with the Clippers and Spurs for the last two playoff spots. The other Western conference teams like the Rockets and Jazz who were behind the Lakers at that time picked up from their slow starts.

Sidebar: I wish LeBron had stayed in Cleveland. It would have been interesting to see how he would have fared against the Bucks. Irving, however, is no match. And, no one on Boston can contain GA. I thought Brad Stevens would come up with some version of Giannis Rules, but nope. That dude is just too strong, fast and physically gifted with "length."
