I suppose the only thing I am unclear on is how you can blame the "Left" for pretty much anything you have mentioned in this thread. or how you used Logic to combat their emotion??? that was the purpose on this thread right?

I identify as independent because I see problems on both sides of the political spectrum. Those who back the right say Lefties are emotional and stupid, those on the left say Righties are racist and stupid. I think both sides can be intelligent and have well thought out arguments. But it seem too many want to dismiss what anyone says because they are a Lefty or a Righty.

Looking at most of your attempts at debate on here you use less Logic and more emotion but you accuse the Left of doing that and running away. I am curious as to why you think this way since it seems to be incorrect.

I don't blame the left for everything, so maybe just balance you are looking for?

The right tells people to pull themselves up by their boot straps when they may not have boots.

The right tells people if you work hard you can make it, that is not always the case, opportunity + preparation + a little bit of good luck = success.

The right tells people that less taxes are better than more taxes, not necessarily the case, taxes fund our military and police officers and teachers and firefighters, corruption and the mismanagement of tax funds is the problem.

I identify as a moderate because i actually am.

But as far as my personal principles go, everything the left is pushing socially i pretty much disagree with, i think its ruining the family structure, increases the spread of stds, and overall creates despair throughout the planet.

Moderates lean right, follow the Republican party.

As an independent I believe both parties are lying to you, A little bit of snark there. Basically I don't follow either party and try to get a third party started as the two party system seems broken. The Republicans and Democrats have too much trouble finding middle ground and neither side wants to budge. If we can get more options I think we can get closer to what would be best for Americans. As it is the government is running stagnant with no real work to better America as both parties vie for control.

It seems like on every issue, if you logically play it out, the left runs away. We never discuss logic, and i think the right has logic on their side and the left has ideas on their side. Problem is, logic always wins. I don't know what i'm looking for here, i'm just a little exhausted. It seems whenever people here and in the world are faced with logic, a crash happens.

I swear i am not on the right, but i have moved towards the right recently because of the environment we live in.
