[W:161]Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

intimidation.....hahahahahah.....think Pelosi and Schiff are trying to intimidate Trump when they hold pressers and tell Trump to come forward with evidence....hahahahahahaha

A guilty person would be intimidated. An innocent person would be happy to provide witnesses, documents and possibly even a deposition.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

who thinks its strange that MSNBC employee conducts the questioning?

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

You don't get how intimidation works do you?
A co-equal person has very little leverage in the way of intimidation.
A boss, on the other hand.

Trump provided all that in Mueller investigation and Dems still believe he obstructed....fool me once

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

OMG
The left has been crying about election inference since day one. We are learning that the inference involves Ukraine.
If there is speculation that Obama officials were involved, yes the president has ever right to look into it. After all he is only getting to the bottom of election inference because that is what the left wants.

Let’s look at the relationship between the DNC and Ukraine in their attempts to derail Trump campaign.

exactly it is known fact that the ukraine arrested and prosecuted several people attempting to interfere and help the clinton campaign.
and that there was at least 1 staffer on the clinton campaign that was reaching out to them directly.

we also know that the entire steele dossier was now all fake by a russian misinformation plan.
Fiona Hill Slams Steele Dossier: 'It’s Very Likely That the Russians Planted Disinformation' | The National Interest

A former White House official who Democrats consider a key witness in their impeachment inquiry told lawmakers in October that she believed Russians likely planted disinformation about President Donald Trump with dossier author Christopher Steele.

Intelligence experts have told the Daily Caller News Foundation that they have long suspected that Steele was the victim of a Russian disinformation campaign. Attorney General William Barr testified on May 1 that he was “concerned” Russians snookered Steele and the FBI.

This is thread on the Impeachment Hearings. As usual that does not matter to you now does it?

Pelosi controls Trumps impeachment vote....whom has control in your opinion ?

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Do you realize that Trump was watching her testimony and in real time he released intimidating tweets? Do you also realize that intimidation of any witness is a CRIME in itself. Chew on that a while.

not at all. see the 1st amendment. he is allowed to rail against any testimony he wants.
you once again prove you have no clue what you are talking about.

None of that is relevant to this impeachment hearing. Its as irrelevant as the identity of the WBer.

Trump does. She may have the controls on the vote, but he is still obstructing at every turn.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Sure, he isn't her boss now.
But the smear campaign started before that.
Do follow along.

We knew Yovanovitch would play the damsel in distress at some point.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

lmao you don't know how government positions work do you? it isn't what you do in government is it who you know.
obviously she knew someone and made very important contacts while she was there in order to get that position.

those positions are not just handed to people off the street. you have to be mentioned and nominated for them.
which means you have to know someone with some power to get you in there. those are appointed positions by
the president or vice president.

Yes there are plenty of people that are utter failures that get promoted all the time.

is that the story of your rise in the fast food industry?

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

PUTIN........PUTIN......PUTIN.....hahaha

?
Yeah, Donny is one of Putin's stooges, everybody knows it, and some don't care. Not funny.

Do you believe it was perfectly normal for him to insinuate the whistle blower was a traitor who should be subjected to execution?

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

We knew Yovanovitch would play the damsel in distress at some point.

Based on his current tweets live during the hearing, perhaps she is in distress. I am sure you wouldn't understand.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Just to remind you what these hearings are all about, they're about the abuse of power of the president. They're about witness intimidation by Trump in real time as he's busy tweeting at the same time that she's testifying. They're about the bribing of a foreign government to interfere in our U.S. elections. They're about our very democracy and rule of law.

This woman is being held up as an example to any person that wants to work with our government in foreign service, that no matter how much integrity they have, no matter how much dedication to advancing U.S. democratic policies in the world, it will not matter. For one day, they might be a political target and taken out of service without cause and without as much as an explanation. Who would want a career with our foreign service in the future if that possibility looms over their heads?

LOL
It’s all connected. What was Trumps intent? The Trump haters like you will say the intent was to get dirt on his opponent (unlike what the DNC did, right).
The Trump supporters will say the intent was to get to the bottom of election interference and to determine if Obama officials and the DNC with the help of Ukraine tried to derail Trumps campaign.
Looks like the democrats and Trump are finally on the same page in getting down to election inference. Democrats are not going to like what is found.

I bet a lot of people would want a career in the foreign service. You just have to remember that the president sets foreign policy and not the foreign service bureaucrats.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

trump isn't her boss she was fired.

She is still working for the State Department on loan to Georgetown University I believe. Unbelievable....just unbelievable.

I should add, IT DOES NOT MATTER. Do you not think ANY US citizen would be INTIMIDATED by tweets like that from the President of the United States. Are you daff.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

Nothing quite like a little potential witness intimidation during the investigation for corruption...

This proves that Trump feels he's above the law. It's right in our face and his deniers will improvise excuses for him. It's absolutely sickening to me. As she was giving testimony, I actually had tears in my eyes, not only for her, but for our country that we so willingly destroyed.

It doesn't matter who would be intimidated, it matters that he's trying to intimidate. That's where the crime is. If you can't see that, then it's you that are the 'daff' one.

It also proves Trumpkin is scared of her. The bully is petrified.

Re: Marie Yovanovitch testimony -- comments

cool what crimes are those because so far not even democrats can tell us what they are.
what mob like corruption?

you don't seem to understand that the president has the ability to authorize any investigation he wants to.
if there is evidence in another country then he can request that evidence. there is nothing illegal about it.
you people have no clue what you are talking about.

biden and obama committed what looks to be a crime. By law trump has the ability to investigate such evidence.

Nuh uh, Trump and Giuliani did, so there!
