Trump was supported by the evangelical right despite his being the diametric opposite of what they say a Christian should be because of his stance on Roe V. Wade. Should they be successful at overturning it, that will bring the country one step closer to their ideal of the government dictating who may or may not have a legal abortion.
Actually, I misspoke about what Trump wants. He wants power, he wants the limelight, and doesn't care about pro life or pro choice. He's only taken the stance he currently has in order to garner votes, period.
In what way do his words, actions or policies lead you to this conclusion?
As I understand it, Trump recommends removing the Feds completely from the regulation of Choice. Trump heads the Federal Government. This places the regulation squarely on the shoulders of the elected representatives in the various states.
How does Trump removing the Federal Government from the decision process entirely equate in your mind to Trump "wants the government to make the choice"?
